The food at Darjohs is absolutely beautiful, I always get the Pad Thai or the Mussman curry, the only thing that lets it down is that there is never enough staff. It is a small restaurant but when it's full they definitely need more than one server, because even though there's not that many people you end up having to wait quite long for drinks etc. it is BYO, which is good but there's not enough of a drinks selection readily available for teetotallers. The meal portions are enormous and reasonably priced, but the service could be better, only because the poor server is stressed and rushed from not having enough support, not because they are not doing their best, and therefore is an issue to be addressed by management, not the servers themselves.

Recently a friend and I bought takeaway here for the first time. Good choice of dishes on the menu, meals came out quickly, and they were tasty and fresh. Prices were reasonable. The interior of restaurant was clean and pleasant, not flash, and given the yummy take away food I would go back to eat there in the restaurant. Waitress was not overly friendly but was not rude either.

This restaurant is small, local and does excellent Asian food, which is always fresh and very tasty. It is very reasonably priced and good for both eat in and take away food that is a healthy type Asian food
