Bad bad experience. Put a new battery in my iphone . Polite. It failed within about a month. Bought a new phone. Another repairer tried to transfer data from old phone to new one. Impossible. They thought my iphone had been damaged by pushing the new battery in too far or incorrectly - can't be fired up. All data lost. Returned to Mr Cassells. He shouted 'if you think I might have ruined your phone, take it to someone else' and slammed his door shut in my face. So much for 7 months warranty on a new battery. The rudest techo I ever encountered. Take your chances! Beware.

Approximate cost: $69

I have used Dave’s business for various phone repairs for my family. He has always been extremely helpful, prompt and reasonably priced.
I would not hesitate recommending this business to anyone no matter the job.
Dave really knows his stuff!

Rude, unhelpful and obnoxious was my experience. I would not recommend this business. This was disappointing as I had heard great things from other customers.

I asked this business if they could replace a 9v power socket on an electronic item. They said they would do the job. When I went to shop they said had changed their mind as they were "too busy". They didn't even look at the item.

We're all busy Dave Cassells Electronics!

After having my daughters Samsung tablet with another company in Ballarat for approx. 12 weeks and then being told it would take another few weeks for the part to come to Australia and to be repaired, I took the device to Dave and was amazed at the service.
Dave fixed the item in less than an hour and even completed the job for half the price the other place was going to charge!!
Would recommend this business to anyone!

Dave knows his stuff, tells it like it is, and has very fair prices.

Fixed the light/camera on my iPhone 4.

Fast turn around - dropped off at 2pm, back by 2pm the next day.

Approximate cost: $50

I rang up Dave to inquire about fixing a mobile phone. He was very polite & had given me a cost price quote to repair, after telling me that he only fixed my brand/type of phone once before and he didn't really want do due to the time it took.
I dropped into the shop anyway to see what he could tell me about the repair, costs, time and other details, to which he offered to fix my phone as a one off (well twice off in this case). Before leaving he explained the parts and costs in a way that was very helpful and I was able to understand the issue that he might have, if any. It was great to have that little extra time for someone to explain what they would be doing, rather than just handing over my item and the worker not showing that they would care for your item.

Approximate cost: $40

Subsequently have received my item back after having it for 1 month and the product has failed. I have been given no option for a warranty repair even though it was at fault of the repairer or the product. Hm Lets just say my phone when from being valued at over $1k to less than $100.. PLUS it cost me to $300 to repair in the first place. Sometimes you can't win with technology.
