The foster carers at DCH do such amazing work. We're currently adopting a cat from them and it's the best experience we've ever had adopting an animal (previously have gone to pounds or the RSPCA). The difference here is they have a no kill policy, animals are fostered until they're rehomed and the foster carers can tell you everything they've learned about the animal. It's also really nice to see them in a normal home environment rather than a shelter where they tend to get sick and not get much attention. I wish I could donate more to help but I urge anyone looking for a cat, dog or horse to check out their website and get in touch with them, they also have an online shop which is very reasonable and all the proceeds go to this wonderful organisation.

better to care, rather than kill.

I have adopted a dog from the pound and it's the most rewarding experience, knowing that you've helped an animal in need. More people should do this. I have a huge admiration for charities like this.

The horrible things people do to animals disgraces me, Help the Animal rescuers save the lives of these percious animals, if i had lots of money i would open a shelter for these loveable animals

Have you ever seen the face of an abandoned dog, cat or other pet/animal its one of the sadest things you can see, the face of re-homed happy animal is a sight for sore eyes, this is an commendable and highly honourable organisation that look after our little friends, keep up the good work.

If you have ever loved an animal, you will know what animal adoption means.

I cannot commend a more noble organisation than one that represents a major part of our community of innocent voiceless members. animals provide loyal and unquestionable love - yet can be so quickly disgarded. To give creatures a 2nd chance at bringing joy to other humans is more charitable than sacrificing them on the end of a needle! This charity takes more risks and responisbilities - unlike other charities. So if you are one of those that 'dumped' out, at least give a dollar back to help!
