I’m still in shock by the rude and disrespectful service I received yesterday. Went into the store the week before and found some feature tiles I loved for powder rooms for the home we are building. Unfortunately, when I took the sample tiles home they did not work with the main tile I was trying to match it with.
I returned to the store to see if they had the feature tiles in another colour or any other to suit the main tile. As they didn’t have either, I was told buy the salesperson-Rita, that I had to choose between my main tile and the feature tile. She told me how she can’t stand indecisive customers like myself ( as I really liked both tiles) and that I had offended her as I was in effect only ‘interested in buying the shoe laces and not the shoes’. She expected that I had to buy all my tile from them, which I may have looked into had I not been treated so poorly. She refused to help me and so I left completely stunned by what had taken place!!!! NEVER have I experienced such rude behaviour and poor service. Beware.

Just another fake review, over exaggerated review by you and your friends, your box as discussed is here at the store, you were told repeatedly not to order the extra box as it was a special order, now man up and get a life your fake reviews have no affect, please collect your box at your discretion I look forward to discussing this matter face to face not through a keyboard.

RUDE, UNRELIABLE, [redacted]
Took my kitchen splash back size to De Lucia a few months ago and ordered the number of boxes that they ([redacted name]) advised. The tiler recommended by De lucia said that there was one box too many and I rang them the following day to amend my order. I was advised this was not possible given that the order had already been placed. After I picked up the order I left the extra box which was brand new and unopened with De Lucia and [redacted name] said she would sell it for me. I went to their store several times to enquire about the box and was advised it had not yet been sold.
On 28 April 2017 I went to their store again and after being advised again that my box of tiles had not been sold I asked if I could have it back. [redacted name] went to the end of the store and spoke to a gentleman there. I could hear the sound of taping and wrapping from the back of the store. After a few minutes the gentleman brought out an old, torn and taped box of tiles and said here is your box and there is one tile missing (please note the size of the tiles is 90x30 cms). When I advised them this was not my box as my box was brand new, unopened and belted [redacted name] became extremely rude and angrily and scornfully shouted “This is your F…ing box”.
I responded by saying why are you being so rude. All I did was ask for my brand new box of tiles. She turned around to the gentleman and said “take this box back to the storage area”, sneered at me and said “You don’t have a receipt for the box you left with us, go and do what the hell you like”. When I said I would complain to Consumer Affairs she said “ha ha ha do what the hell you like.
This behavior and attitude is totally unacceptable and I recommend that people do not trust this company especially [redacted name] [redacted negative personal comment]. [redacted generalisation]
