Marc and his team (Josh & Harrison) are true craftsmen, every detail is made with precision. They are professional, prompt and courteous. We always felt comfortable asking questions and if we requested a change it was completed with no fuss or added cost. We cannot praise Deck It Out highly enough and definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to add value to their home.

We recently had our balcony rebuilt by Deck It Out Decks and Pergolas and are very happy with the outcome. The original was built in the 1980’s using oregon timber and rotting. We took the opportunity to enhance the space with a larger roofed alfresco section. The balcony covers a large area (over 85sqm).
Marc and his team specialise in this type of work and were clearly experienced in all aspects of the build. This is reflected in the quality of the workmanship and materials selected. The build process was very well managed across both the core team and subcontractors. They were very accommodating and responsive to our questions and requests. We found Marc flexible in working with us to meet our requirements. His experience enabled him to make suggestions to refine our original design concept and the finished product came out even better than we had hoped. We have been utilising our new deck extensively since it was completed and it works really well. We first heard about Marc from a recommendation and are happy to recommend his services ourselves. We would have no hesitation using him again for any future projects.

Marc and his team have built a high quality, beautiful deck for our family. Marc helped us work out the best use of space and was always available to answer questions throughout the project. Scott and Jarrod who did the building were helpful, polite and everything happened when we were told it would. Our outdoor space is so much more usuable and looks spectacular! The huge deck that Marc and his team built us has totally transformed our backyard and has given us a whole new living space that we use every day. Marc and the team built a new back deck for us recently and we couldn't be happier with the result - a well constructed deck with quality workmanship built by true professionals that care about their work.

Marc initially met with us to discuss our requirements and came up with some good ideas and refinements to ensure that the deck would blend in well with the house and the surrounding bushland.

Marc provided a fair and reasonable quote within a day or two of our initial meeting and was very easy to deal with. He proved to be very reliable and would always turn up when he said he would and returned phone calls and emails in a timely manner.

Once the work started, Marc and the team worked on the deck day after day until it was finished. We had very good weather that week, so the guys were only on-site for 4 days from start to finish. Marc checked in regularly and reported progress on a daily basis to ensure that we were happy and that our requirements were being met.

It was a difficult site to access and Marc came up with some innovative solutions to get all the materials on-site. Somehow, he found a way to get the machine in to dig the holes for the posts.

All in all, it was a pleasure to deal with Marc and his team and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Very happy with the job Marc's team carried out. They replaced all the rotten decking and federation-style handrail & palings on our old deck with fresh merbau decking & handrails together with new cypress posts & stainless steel wiring. They also completely redesigned what had been a rickety flight of the stairs and installed a small gate. It looks fantastic!
