Do not use deepchill

We wanted 2 split system units fitted to our unit. They came out to give us a quote. He drew up the plans where we wanted the units so we gave them the go ahead. Two weeks later two young guys arrived to install them. They told us because of structual problems they would have to install them on the opposite walls.Thinking this was our only option we agreed. We later found out there was no reason not to mount them as planned. After visiting our neighbours we saw their new units fitted on the exact walls we had asked for. It was just easier for the two installers to install them on the opposite walls. We now have two air conditioners blowing cool air away from our living areas. We have to run them on high to feel any cooling. Not very efficient. I contacted the owner about this and he offered to give me a quote to move the units back to the other wall as planned. The wall where his installers told me they not could use.
If you want a professional instalation and a company that will talk to you after they have your money DO NOT USE DEEPCHILL.

Multihead aircon

I had a multi head system installed in my home.. Deepchill sent out some young boys to do the installation they wired the system backwards then shorted out the main unit! Then they sent the wrong parts! With numerous phone calls, emails, Texts, going backwards and forwards. They finally came out and installed the incorrect part. But cross wired two of the units!! We had to get them back again to fix them mistakes a third time! Absolute dodgy installers. Would not recommend this company!!

On top of this, they still want to charge full price for all the mucking around and the weeks of backwards and forwards that we had to go through in the middle of a really hot summer!

WARNING. A technician from this company came to fix heating on 5 yr old LG AC. Cooling working fine. Technician repaired leak and topped up gas. I believed him and paid invoice, stupidly without testing machine thoroughly before paying. After he left I tested and was not working, technician came back an hour later and after working on it for a while he comes in and tells me the compressor is dead and I no longer have heating or cooling. When I queried this with the company their official line was air conditioners are man made machines that break and that the original invoice would stand.
However, there is a discrepancy in the technician claiming he had tested the machine in my presence before he left the first time and if the machine was working why did he have to come back an hour later. As many people have said to me, ‘yes machines break but its weird something happened to it while a technician was working on it, that would be like taking your car to the mechanic for an oil change and then the mechanic telling you the motor blew up while it was there’.
They also advised that the repair for the machine often costs more than a new machine and so they provided a quote for a new machine. A different company quoted a repair that came in half the cost of a new machine which makes me wonder how many machines prematurely get replaced under there watch.
I wish I had read the reviews before choosing them as there is a pattern of people losing money with them when things don’t go smoothly. I was bringing home our first baby from the hospital that day and saw them as a solution to heating, but ended up with a bigger problem as well as increased stress and anxiety having to deal with their hard line. The only expertise I experienced from them was the skill of dodging any culpability. If you’re looking for someone to do your work all the best trying to find someone honest.

WARNING. 1,287 dollars and over a month later Deepchill have just left my house and told me “Your air conditioner is stuffed, you need to buy a new one”.. Any decent air conditioning company could have told me that on day 1. My experience with Deepchill is a bunch of con artists who will milk you for every cent they can get. The technician was so lazy he couldn’t even find the access manhole in the ceiling. Its right there in one of the bedrooms, I pointed it out to him on his third visit. This is the worst experience i have ever had with any company. 1,287 dollars out of pocket and i still don't have any air conditioning. There should be a Zero Star rating option for this company.

We recently engaged Deepchill to install a zoned ducted air-conditioning system in our home. They had the best price and provided good advice about what system we should get. We paid a little more for a branded Fujitsu system and very happy with the system. After installation there were a few issues with damage to the ceiling, however they were very quick to engage a qualified contractor and painter to make all repairs at their expense. Very pleased with the air-conditioning system and their customer service.
