Very happy, get quite a large rebate on physio and the dentist and the girls at reception always tell me defence has the highest gap coverage. Cant complain!

I've been with Defence Health for several years now and have always been very impressed by their service. Claims are easy to make, and payment is made promptly. Waiting time for customer service is pretty good - usually I get straight through to someone. The premium is a lot less than the mainstream insurance agencies.

Fantastic health fund, if you meet eligible joining criteria. Fantastic service and offer the best rebates for services around. Quick processing of claims. Does not even compare to other funds, very well priced for return you receive and great website. Great also if you have student dependants, they have special offers

We've been members for many years and have not had any complaints with customer service, claims processing, price, or with the range of ancilliary cover. Their staff have always been very helpful and happy!! It is a select entry health fund in that only Defence civilian employees, families of serving soldiers, Defence contractors, and families of same can join, but it is worth considering this fund if you work in that arena. Another benefit is that children can go on to take up cover in their own once they turn 21 or 25.
