What a lovely surprise! Popped in for the Monday & Tuesday night special ($14.95 for porterhouse steak with jus, salad & chips) and will be back for more. Steak was cooked perfectly to order, was tender & juicy with a delicious jus, and the salad was NOT the usual stock-standard packaged boring salad far too many establishments try to pass off as ‘salad’. The meal was very well sized, far more generous than I expected for $14.95. The wait staff were excellent - very attentive, polite, recited the numerous chef specials perfectly and made sure our table water was kept topped up. Very impressive overall. I think this may become a regular for me. Well done, team Coorparoo.
