We used Francesco Fallone's services as a building designer. We were extremely satisfied with the level and professionalism of his service. We originally interviewed 6 designer/architects. To begin with, Francesco's professional fee was very reasonable in comparison with the others. What I particularly remember on first meeting him was his instant grasp of our specific project requirements. Other architects had raised the spectre of several issues that they felt would be difficult to resolve with Council, which had in turn caused us to become stressed and uncomfortable. Francesco's calm and assertive manner was therefore very comforting; he told us that none of our concerns were unresolvable, which proved to be correct. In fact, our DA was passed through Council in what might be considered record time.
Francesco liaised straightforwardly with us throughout the entire design process, adapted to our time constraints (we could only see him out of regular business hours) and listened to our brief carefully, saving us much time and effort. In addition, our design requirements were quite innovative and not at all straightforward. Francesco delivered what we asked for by both listening to us and by making practical and sensible design decisions.
Finally, every builder or tradesman that we have shown the completed plans to has described them as 'elegant' and happy for his involvement in such an interesting project.

We used Francesco of Design Atelier to design an attic conversion for our terrace. He was efficient and great at contributing both creative ideas and practical knowledge. When we first spoke to council about our attic conversion, they informed us that it probably would not be supported. Francesco went through our original purchase contract and found a little loop hole regarding our floor space ratio and prepared a Streetscape Analysis Report that showed a strong precedence of our proposal to council. He got this tricky proposal through council in less than 6 weeks. The result was exactly what we'd hoped for with a practically sized spiral stair case and a new room that maximised space and light.
