1 review about Designer Muttz

I needed help with my old dog - she is a long haired breed and I've been clipping her myself, but figured I'd have a break and pay for a professional clip for her. She was also due for dental surgery and I thought it would be a good idea to make sure her muzzle was clipped. I called Designer Muttz and enquired, they said it would cost $55, I thought it was expensive, but she was local and I decided it was ok. They told me to wash the dog before I arrived. When I arrived they put an apron on ME and asked me to hold my dog the whole time for the clip - I wasn't happy especially as they acted annoyed several times when I didn't do the job well enough. I usually do the dog by myself ALONE and I'm not a professional. It took ages - about an hour - and I ended up with dog hair all over - including in my throat, up my nose and in my eyes. I sneezed all the way home. I had to wash the dog a 2nd time when I got home as she had teeny tiny hair clippings all over. The groomer did not clean the dogs ears or clip her nails. The kicker was the groomer only shaved half of the dogs face, stating that they didn't want to risk a dog bite. My dog didn't growl or act aggressive in the least and I had to chop off what I could when I got home with my scissors. The main reason I went was to have the dogs FACE done by a professional. Too bad I didn't hire one. They will get one over on you if she can, I got the impression they was just getting bolder and bolder the longer I stayed. Never again *shudder*.
