Whenever I am in Camperdown I pop in for a coffee. Service is always friendly and they do a fantastic bircher muesli with poached pears and rhubarb with loads of almonds. Fantastic and healthy. Have tried to imitate at home but my rhubarb always ends up really mushy but theirs is soft but stays together in recognisable stalks rather than looking like a gloopy mess. One day I will perfect this, meanwhile back to Deus....

Love this place. Great breakfast and enough room for the kids. Interesting decor inside. Check out the shop next door

Great coffee! The staff went out of there way to accommodate a fussy eater (me!) which was very much appreciated. The meal I ordered was a little overpriced for what you get, but in saying that, you definitely get quality. The interior design is amazing.

Great coffee and breakfasts are big. Pretty good value too. Deus Breakfast is $17 and then add 10% surcharge for weekends. It also gets really busy mid mornings and lunch times on the weekend but the atmosphere is great. You also have to enjoy communal dining tables as there are only a few individual tables. One slight problem that they could rectify with a trip to Ikea is to get some high chairs!!

Approximate cost: $17

An amazing venue in the retail area, really great clothing & friendly staff. As for the cafe, it has a good breakfast menu, but the service is slow slow slow, then i paid the bill, get me a bank loan now!!!!! A sandwich was around $14, what happened to the good old days of value for money & fair pricing. Dinner is definately better, a far more ambient feel & less busy than morning, menu is ok but not very extensive, still pretty good overall...

I had lunch here with a friend on a weekday. The food is pretty high standard and fairly priced, if higher than normal. BUT I was disappointed with a few things. You have to serve yourself drinking water from a bubbler in the corner, with paper coffee cups. Ditto getting your own cutlery. The place is also like a barn and extremely noisy. Then they served us a free chunk of bread to share, but without providing butter! An okay experience, if you think of it more as a fashionable serve-yourself canteen than a cafe.

Approximate cost: $15 (lunch)

Great, unique cafe in Camperdown. One side is a motorcycle shop, the other a cafe with long tables. Its very much pull up a seat wherever and enjoy the food and coffee. Perfect for a Sunday morning.

Approximate cost: $10
