have just been in to Dicks St Marys with a query about a faulty laptop power supply cord. I was attended to politely and in a friendly manner when discussing the problem and Jonathon the assistant in consultation with his manager decided it was covered by extended warranty - they promptly installed and tested the replacement and I walked out of the shop very impressed by Dick Smith's service. DSE at St. Mary's is not a good experience. The staff are rude and condescending. They do not acknowledge the customers and do not seem to want to be there. They are unhelpful and sneer when asked questions. Items catalogued on sale either do not exist or are not on sale. Prices on tickets scan at a much higher price than stated on the shelf. Very overpriced compared to buying the exact same products elsewhere. I will not be returning to this store.
