I've been going to Dickens and Herd for many years and have had nothing but excellent service from them. I recently thought I would try a big name chain optometrist instead as our health fund allows us a bigger discount if we go with them. What a disaster the glasses they supplied were no good at all. Everything was blurry and I simply could not see. I went running back to Dickens and Herd, was retested , found frames I love and was no more out of pocket than at the other store. [redacted clinical content] Would recommend Dickens and Herd to anyone who needs a good optometrist.

been going here for about 18 years. not many changes in optometrists.always had my kids eyes checked here and they are very thorough and will explain to you and show you if anything is wrong in simple terms. kids wernt afraid of them as both the optomitrists are very friendly and charming. I also had my eyes tested here, all on medicare and purchased some lovely ,tho expensive, but i had to have them, reading glasses.they made sure i could read with them before leaving, asked if anything can be done or am i happy with the result. love my red fancy reading glasses lol they were done in about 2 days , kwik, hassle free and I will keep going back....
