Although this Dimmeys doesn't have the style and charm of the old Dimmeys/Forges store that used to be in Footscray, it is still good to know that they are around and are accessible to me.

I rely on them for all my sheets and towels and bedding - they have a great range of styles and colours and it's well laid out in this big premises.

The staff are friendly and helpful, particularly when I wanted certain colours and they helped me get the stock in.

There's a lot more to this shop also, you could spend a long time just wandering around. Right now they've got lovely pillows for $2.99 and quilts for $10. When you've got a few beds to make, as I do, that's a bargain.

Baby wear and children's ware, rugs, cleaning products - even soft drinks. You never know what you're going to find. Their curtains are also sensational.
