Went to get my foils with golden blonde. More than happy with the service and the result. Love the haircut abd waxing my eyebrows too. Beautiful young couple running it. Must see and experience the difference.

I have built up a series of horror-story haircuts over the years. Accidental bowlcuts, blonde that was meant to be red, and creepy odds and ends sticking out all over the place. I stumbled upon Dina's Hair & Beauty through a simple walk-in just over a year ago, and have been a regular since then.

These are two hairdressers who really listen to you, and give expert advice. Dina and Davey are sociable, genuine and very easy to talk to - an often overlooked 'hairdresser' trait that I consider very important. I'm sometimes too nervous or shy to tell a hairdresser EXACTLY what I want, or if they're doing a bad job. Whilst I've never had a reason to tell these people the latter, experimenting ideas with them and communicating exactly what I want is just effortless with them.

They took the time to remember my name and little details about my life one would usually forget in stranger small-talk. I've noticed they do this with regular customers that walk in and out; there's always a, "Say hi to your sisters from me!" or "Enjoy that trip next week!" They really create a warm relationship with their customers and it reflects in their job.

Prices are average - less expensive than some, more than others. A male haircut is $15, which isn't too bad. Colour is $35. I even got my eyebrows tinted once (and they didn't laugh or comment at all - see, guys can do it too!) which was $10. During these processes they're extremely warm and attentive, always offering tea or coffee, and making sure you're comfortable the entire time.

Slight drawback - they can get distracted trying to assist multiple people at once. I've had instances of colour dye sitting in my hair too long (with no negative effects, but still) or waiting mid-hair-cut whilst another customer had a question to be answered. This can't always be helped though - the store is run by two hairdressers and sometimes people will come in and ask for hair advice. Bookings may help here, although for the record I've only ever done this once, and have rarely had to wait.

They also have their own range of hair products, which are a bit cheaper than mainstream brands but perfectly good at doing the job if you're on a budget.

If you're in the area, this little salon is definitely worth checking out, particularly if you want hairdressers you can trust.

Do they do hair cuts for women? Because I have to find a place that stops butchering my hair for a decent price.

I went to this place to get my hair done. The price was average compared to other salons but the good thing was that it's a hair and beauty salon so it's almost like a one stop shop. Plus it's on the main street. Parking could be a little difficult as it is a busy street but it's not too bad. Nice people in there too.

Approximate cost: $80
