Small venue, gets quite loud, I came here to see a show but I misunderstood what time it started and I was quite bored waiting around here and went and explored other places before returning. The staff were friendly.

This enterprising venue is tucked away in the city, off Bourke Street. Don't be put off by the name, it's a great place for new and contemporary Australian music and bands regularly make their Album debuts etc here.

The music is just great and you never know who'll be there. Or you can pick and choose on their website - tickets vary from about $12.50 to over $20 depending on artist. Last night it was "The Wellington's" Album launch party.

It's air conditioned as well, which was a bit of a surprise - not hot and sweaty and there's also a balcony.

A very enjoyable night out and staff we met (sound guy) was friendly and helpful. Group bookings are okay, need to contact them.
