We ate here for an evening meal, sat out on the balcony, overlooking the foreshore and jetty. What a beautiful view, and the food was nice. So good, we decided to return for breakfast.
Not so good. As we entered, some other people were asking for their money back because they had waited so long. As we sat, another couple left, I heard them say they would not wait any longer either.
We thought, OK, we'll still give them a go (there wasnt anybody else left). So, we ordered, went out to the balcony area, just outside the door, and waited, and waited, and waited. Staff had been walking past us, my wife said we should say something, I said, no they surely would not do that again.
After 45 minutes (at least enjoying the view), I went in and asked how much longer. 'Havent you had your order??'. was the reply. We thought you were just sitting.
So, we also requested our money back and left without breakfast.
Maybe this was just one of those bad days, I hope so, because the staff were friendly enough and the 1st night experience was very good, and the setting is fantastic. So, we will probably give them the benefit of the doubt and try again if we pass this way in the future.

Arrived just before opening time at 10am. Manager unloading supplies, asked us if we wanted coffee - yes please - just let me unload and I'll be with you. Service with a smile, and went the extra mile! Coffee excellent as well. Thoroughly recommend.

A great place to eat overlooking the jetty and the lawned foreshore area, the food is delicious and presented extremely well. The meals are very reasonably priced.

Approximate cost: $17.00

Had a Sunday lunch with these guys at Port Broughton. The windows of the restaurant overlook the Bay and the scenery alone is worth a cup of coffee and a relaxing time ..BUT....I had a lemon squid as well and it was delicious. Long calamari strands wrapped in spices and herbs topped with a garden salad and chips was exquisite food. It was a change from the usual calamari rings that you eat in a fish and chip shop. Food was presented professionally and I would recommend this as a holiday restaurant well worth eating at.

Approximate cost: $15

What a treat this was while on holiday at this coastal town in S.A to have a great lunch. The salt and pepper squid was delicious. There was a mixture of locals and large family groups for Sunday lunch we were lucky to get a table. Michael and Kris looked after us well.
