I have been going to Dome Hairdressing for approx 10 years, initially on the recommendation of a friend. The staff are very professional , experienced and friendly. The salon has a nice vibe and I've always had a good experience and been happy with the result. I have noticed that they seem to have a loyal clientele and a lot of repeat business as the clients are usually familiar to the staff. I highly recommend this salon.

I recently tried this hairdresser and ta stylist with 18 years experience cut/blowed my hair. The salon has a friendly, girly, vibe with the cutest Frenchie lying on his bed in the corner which I totally loved. My hairdresser was friendly, and the whole experience was good. On the down side I was really annoyed when I got home and noticed that my hair was cut noticeably i.e. 1 inch longer on one side than the other. I've had this happen before at other hairdressers on one or two occasions before but this was quite exaggerated. The layers she cut into my shoulder length hair also do not make sense and after a number of weeks I find that my hair jstill doesn't fall into place naturally. The reason is that the shortest layers are way too thinned out and short for the overall length and in fact the layers above my ears separate out entirely from the longest layers creating a bump above my ears. The left hand side layers are also way shorter than the right hand side. Not quite what one would expect from 18 years hairdressing experience.

Worst salon I've ever been to. The customer serve and level of care is attrotious, the staff are all transient travellers who couldn't care less and the owners Bec Christie is pretty disinterested, not caring much about what's happening in her salon. So if your looking for a good hairdresser to stick with this is not the place, don't bother! I went in to have my blonde roots done with Camila (who was meant to be their best colourist) she overlapped the bleach and large areas of my hair snapped off. The breakage was so extreme that there was no fixing it, I shaved my head the very next day, no hair was better the mess I was left with. When I spoke with the owner, Bec who agreed to refund me, took my bank account details and said she just needed to get her book keeper to process it. However she never followed through with the refund, I have since tried to speak with her and follow it up, but she's always MIA and has been unresponsive ever since. Not exactly what you call good customer service and especially from the business owner. Very bad experience, would never wish this salon on anybody. Buyer be warned!!
