cheapest and most filling meal i've had in a while, the place i would say is very low key but once you're inside it's quite artistic looking and warehousey so that was quite cool

the meal was massive! the sauce was practically a soup but it would be better though if it had more meat (or chicken, whatever the case may be)

I have been there before for lunch on a weekday a couple of times and found it to be quite busy and bustling with uni students and other patrons looking for a bite to eat.

The dishes are very well priced and the taste is okay.

In my personal opinon the meals are passable, but i have to admit I have other favourite restaurants/cafes for asian cuisine.

Similar to Don Don on Swanston St, Don Tojo offers up a few different japanese mains, all under $10. Not only is the food cheap but so is their beer and sake wine, you can get some of the beers there for only $3. What Don Tojo has got going on over Don Don is it's size. It's quite easy to find somewhere nice and cosy to sit, whether be inside or out. It's not as crowded as Don Don.
