They got criminal charges downgraded to non-criminal nothing pay a little fine.
Then a 1000 fine and nothing for 16 plants, and 400 grams. 7 charges turned into 3. They're real gatekeepers of the legal system, really the only time I've probably experienced justice to fullest.
But they did question my motives for committing the crimes quiet extensively. And my motivations were not to harm anyone, and just a little mistake. But you have to get your character references, they can't do that for you.
Words cannot describe how happy I am that noone can ever see the other little mistake I made as it would affect my ability to find employment and I'd be FD.
In my experience lawyers charge around 500 an hour.
So, a total of 8 charges split between 2 cases and rotating days was around 3500, a bunch of appearances for administrative purposes. You just gotta sit there and do your time waiting patiently, show them your a normal person. Better than cleaning toilets for the next 5 ten years waiting for a conviction to go.
