Awesome place to go to, especially if you like alternative/underground hairstyles - they do popular styles as well though. If you feel at unease with your local hairdresser because they're bitchy and pump annoying pop music, then doppelganger is for you. If your hairdresser also tells you cant do that hairstyle because your hair is not trained to do that, then they have no idea what they're talking about. Trust me it happened to me and it was only a quiff style or whatever its called - they didnt even get me onto hairspray..... Doppelganger has taught me how to be creative with my hair and they have shown me the endless possibilities of hairstyles. Not to sound too dramatic, but I personally suffer from social anxiety disorder. For six to eight months, I would avoid going to hairdressers in my area because I was scared of being judged and hated the fact none of them represented the alternative scene like doppelganger. I finally found Doppleganger before I turned into a full blown hippie due to my strangely long hair. Now I feel like I can present almost any idea I have with Doppelganger because they're real honest people that are passionate about all forms of hairstyling.
