The milkshakes are the best I have ever had, the staff are wonderful, its a pin up retro themed restaurant and is just one of the best restaurants I have been to. Absolutely amazing!

Doughbox Diner is a super-cool, retro diner in Newtown which I discovered this weekend past and fell in love with. The diner and its staff are decked out in 50s glam. The crepes and waffles are to die for, the hardest part is choosing which one to order. This place is very popular, and certainly a unique experience, highly recommended!

Doughbox Diner is a funky and retro/ vintage diner and it's not hard to notice with the bright pink signage and 1950's glam decor! While the place isn't overly big, inside the decor and rock and roll memorabilia on the walls and bright red booths make it a fun place to dine!

They are famous for their " crepe cones" . I love the Supreme Crepe cone for $11 which comes with pepperoni. mushrooms, cabanossi, pineapple, olives, cheese and spanish onions all wrapped in a delicious cone! The beef master and the Cheesy Chorizo one's are also quite tasty too! Team that with a thickshake for $8 and you have an instant lunch right there!

If savoury crepes aren't your thing - there are also sweet crpe options, waffles, sundaes, ice- creams and coffee and tea available!

Staff are friendly, decor is fun and great to look at whilst dining inside the comfy red booths and I love the pink uniform worn by staff! This place is hard to miss, a great place to dine. Would happily return!

Approximate cost: $11
