I will never be able to thank Pregs enough for being such an awesome doctor to me. I saw him for both my pregnancies. The first one was a textbook pregnancy/birth and I was very impressed with his bedside manner, so calm and reassuring. I remember walking in the delivery suite and as soon as I saw him, I felt safe. I knew everything would be fine. My second pregnancy was high risk with some serious complications. I was very stressed about it because there was a good chance I could lose the baby. Pregs was simply amazing. Not only were his skills as a doctor exceptional, but to me his greatest assets were his kindness, patience and people skills. He knew when encouragement was needed and how to break bad news without making you panic. I will be forever grateful to him for the amazing care I received from him, absolutely faultless.

Despite a difficult pregnancy and not really enjoying the whole process, Pregs and his staff were very supportive, understanding & caring throughout. Pregs ran on time almost without fail & was excellent in both my deliveries.

Pregs is calm, competent and most importantly caring. He put our best interests first and would always consider any of our requests/preferences all the while keeping the well being of mum and baby a priority. His relaxed yet professional manner helped the birthing experience run smoothly and we cannot thank him enough for delivering both our daughters. Happy to recommend him to our family and friends.

We used Pregs for all of our 3 babies over 4 years - right from initial pregnancy through to delivery each time. He is very thorough and has a calming nature, doesnt say a lot but inspires confidence and is particularly effective on the big day for the little things that can go wrong (we had a fainting mother, 2 vaccuum extracted babies, 2 posterior babies). We experienced great continuity with his midwifery team as well, they are extremely friendly and helpful and haven't changed for the 4 years, which is always a good sign for the quality of the business. If you are an easily stressed, control freak type person Pregs might not elaborate enough to suit you but if you are happy to rely on an expert to do his job well then Pregs is your man.

Right from the start, Pregs was a great obstetrician. Easy to talk to, very calm and laid back, but also very attentive when he needed to be. During labour after I was fully dilated and had been pushing for a while, it appeared the baby was stuck. I was tired and exhausted and felt like giving up. Pregs suggested we try a forceps delivery, I was unconvinced and felt there was no point trying - I had so little energy left, my husband was tired too, and we both thought a caesarian was the best option. Pregs knew that I wanted as natural a birth as possible, and wasn't going to give up on me so easily, and he really strongly recommended we try forceps first. I'm so glad he did, because our baby girl was born so quickly with the forceps and I didn't need a caesar. My husband and I were both so thrilled, and so grateful that he was so supportive of us and our preferences when we were both so worn out.
We will be having more children, and will definitely be going back to Pregs for our next pregnancy.

Found Dr Pregs after reading many other positive reviews online and my personal experience was just as positive. He has a very calm nature that's very reassuring, yet he is not aloof and is considerate of your preferences and concerns as a parent. My birth did not go as planned and an emergency c-section was required. Pregs genuinely tried, even until the last few mins before the c-section took place, to do everything he could to try to allow me to do it naturally. In the end, I couldn't, but I knew I was in capable hands and my c-section went ahead without any issue and I recovered very well with minimal scarring (and most importantly a beautiful, healthy baby!). Very happy and will certainly be returning when it's time for bub number two.

I found Dr Pillay through my GP and also looked online at other reviews. I recently had my baby and could not rate Dr Pillay more highly. His relaxed nature and considered approach was great for me as a first time mum. He was there at the birth and my baby boy came safely into the world. All of his midwives are excellent and ready with any advice.

I cannot thank Dr Pregs Pillay enough! He has a friendly manner as well as being highly professional. I always felt so comfortable asking Pregs questions and he was alway very through answering any query. I would highly recommend Pregs to anybody looking for an obstetrician. The nicest and most professional medical practitioner I have ever met! Also his midwives and administration staff are have a beautiful nature and are always looking out for their patients.

Dr Pregs Pillay is fantastic. Delivered my baby boy via C Section. Provided amazing support throughout my entire pregnancy, as did his extremely friendly and supportive staff. Delivery and birth could not have gone smoother. I was up and walking the next day with minimal pain, 2 days later I did not even feel as if I had surgery. I cannot recommend Dr Pillay and his staff enough. This was my first pregnancy and if I have a second I will most definitely go to Pregs again.
