Dr. Pregs Pillay is an amazing doctor (God send for us). Anybody seeing him for the first time will get a good vibe talking to him. He is very professional, easy to approach, pleasant and always puts you at ease. He is ready to address all your concerns and questions you have regarding your pregnancy. He and his team stood by us all the time.The midwives are amazing too (astounding service and always with a smile on their face ). Thank you Thank you Thank you. We have had an amazing experience with both our daughters born in Epworth Freemasons and doctor Pregs Pillay being our obstetrician and Gynaecologist. If we plan to have a third one, definitely Dr. Pregs Pillay will be our doctor without a doubt :)

Dr Pillay is very professional and also very relaxed doctor and I highly recommend. He supported me during my pregnancy and labour. He is very good. During consultations when I was pregnant, he listened to me so patiently and answered all the questions I had for him each visit. Lots of doctors are very impatient and so unapprociable but Dr Pillay is so different. Dr Pillay delivered my two children. I hear from lots of doctors are not around when you are in labour but Dr Pillay attended to me for my two births to my children. Both my husband and I are happy we would go back to him if I fall pregnant again. Also receptionists/midwives there are so friendly and approciable.

Pregs and his team at Freemasons looked after me for both my pregnancies and deliveries. He is professional, kind and always available in an emergency. His support staff are just amazing. He was able to deliver both my sons safely even though both turned posterior during labour. Worth every cent for quality, consistent care at the most important time.

Dr Pillay was extremely professional, easygoing and reassuring. I had complete confidence in his abilities. No stitches required despite having a 4+kg baby thanks to Dr Pillays great guidance. I had complications during pregnancy and these were handled promptly and effectively. Corinne on the front desk is absolutely fantastic and the midwifery team who support Dr Pillay are also excellent and provided valuable post birth advice (re mastitis) to me. Thanks Helen and Glenda! I couldn't recommend Dr Pillay and his team highly enough.

Our last visit to Dr Pregs' offices along with our bundle of joy, was slightly bittersweet: happy that all went so well but also a bit sad to be saying goodbye to him and his wonderful staff. From the very beginning, they all welcomed us to their 'family' - we always felt excitement and anticipation as each appointment neared. Dr Pregs puts you at ease straightaway which means you and your partner can ask any question without feeling intimidated or stressed. You are given his undivided attention notwithstanding his busy schedule and you never feel like you're being rushed. You also have available to you his talented midwives for any follow up questions or support. And when the big moment arrives you are in safe hands, confident that you have an outstanding obs looking after you. Our entire pregnancy and birthing experience was amazing thanks to his good counsel regarding risk and pain management, and specialist skills. And because the midwives at freemasons like him, they work very effectively with him to deliver you. We will definitely return if we are blessed enough to have a second one!

I would highly recommend Dr. Pregs to everyone. He is one of the best obstetricians. Every visit during my pregnancy, Dr. Pregs always answer my questions patiently and does the check-up thoroughly. I often feel more relax about my pregnancy after every visit to Dr Pregs. He is very experienced and professional in his area. He had made me feel comfortable and less stressful about the whole pregnancy. Dr. Pregs also has a very helpful team (e.g. midwives) behind. They are reachable all the time to answer your questions and concerns as well.

I had very smooth experience with Dr. Pregs and would definitely go back to him with my second baby.

Pregs Pillay is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Made the whole birthing experience as chilled out as you can make birthing experience. Bedside manner was calm and just lovely. I felt safe and secure at all times. His staff are also beyond amazing, especially Glenda one of his midwives. Just lovely..all staff were professional helpful and never made any Qs I had feel stupid....I was only ever having one and I will go back for my second and Pregs will be the first person I call. Thank-you for such a wonderful experience.

After sampling a number, my GP referred me to Dr. Pregs even though she does not know Dr. Pregs in person.
Even though it was not my first baby, I was scared, unsure of everything, and the thoughts of having a baby in a foreign country besides my studies depressed me thoroughly. These worries vanished the first day I attended Dr. Pregs Office. When I called to book an appointment, a very pleasant lady answered and talked me through their process. She was thoroughly helpful and this settled me a little. My worries vanished completely when I attended Dr. Preg's office for my first check up. Besides his deep professional knowledge, Dr. Pregs has such a caring nature, willing and absolutely happy to answer any questions that one has. Dr. Preg's staff are wonderfully amazing! Always willing to assist where they can and have the magic to settle worries and anxiousness.

I would highly recommend Dr Pregs Pillay to anyone. I had the same positive experience as other reviewers. The ladies on reception started my positive experience when I phoned looking for an obs with my first child in 2010. They were friendly and not rude like so many others had been.

Dr Pillay has a lovely calm manner which put me at ease. He always had time for me to ask questions no matter how small or silly they were and made my mother or husband when attending my apts feel welcome. My birthing experience was positive and I was calmer knowing that Dr Pillay was present.

I am currently seeing Dr Pillay again for birth of my second child. My only complaint is that he will be on annual leave when I am due to deliver and I will miss him! He has not changed at all in the past 2 years and I did not hesitate to return when I knew I was pregnant again.

The staff in his rooms are lovely and friendly and I will miss not seeing them when I no longer have a reason to visit.

My experience with baby number 1 and now also with baby 2 due in December were only positive. Pregs has a friendly and warm bedside manner and is only too happy to answer any questions one might have. He is also very laid back in his approach in a good way that puts a first time mum at ease. His staff are also friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good, but not outlandishly expensive obstetrician. I went St Vincents Private last time, but going Freemasons this time.
