I have been a patient of dr bonds for the better part of 15years.
I travel from where I reside to see him, this has included Castlemaine, Ballarat, Whittlesea and of course for many years Collingwood.
At times I have used local hospitals and go clinics in a pinch. It is always interesting to see how so many Australians are not sever very well, competitively.
He is very pragmatic (ex aus army), very thorough (one would guess this is an army attribute also), his treatment ideas are well explained and ones expectations are clearly managed.
He just wants you to get as well as modern can make you without I excess attention to side options.
He’s a great gp, has always bulk billed, I’d eminently sensible and very kind.

I have been seeing Dr Bond for approx 6 years. He is one of the Old School Doctors, who actually takes the time to see you and explain the issue and listens. I highly recommend him, as a Doctor as long as you get in before he retires lol

What an amazing doctor. I saw Dr Bond fairly late one afternoon, but being kept back was not a concern for him. He addressed my needs, was very considered, made feel very comfortable and showed an interest in me as a person not just a patient. A pity I live in Adelaide or I would certainly want him to be my family doctor.

I went to see Dr Bond as my usual doctor's surgery didn't have any appointments available until Friday, and couldn't be happier with the service I've received. The clinic is a walk in, and I waited abotu 45 minutes in total to be seen. Dr Bond was polite and courteous, I felt like he listened to what I said and advised medical treatment suitable to my condition. Would recommend him, and definitely go again when I'm unable to see my regular doctor.

I've been seeing Dr. Bond for the last 3-4 years. He's knows his stuff, has a very pleasant manner, is a straight-shooter, has very broad experience (including some interesting tales of screening candidates for long-term Antarctic service) and he has a sense of humour to boot!

He bulk bills, and while waiting times are generally low, you can book a timeslot if you're prepared to pay upfront (I think you can then claim it on Medicare).

Clinic hours as of January 2008 are Mon-Thur 8:30am-7:3pm, and Fridays until 2pm.

Dr. Bond is lovely & thorough. The best dr i've found in the collingwood- fitzroy- carlton area. Ive been seeing him for three years through overseas trips for shots, divorce, life threatening tonsilitus- Dr. Bond is one of the good guys!

my experiences with Gps has been pretty awful in recent years. long waiting times, fast consultations with lack of care. i was pleasantly surprised today though. They bulk bill if you don't book an appointment and to avoid queues I arrived at 8:45am. I was seen to pretty much immediately, the doctor and all the staff were really professional and pleasant.
