Dr Brendan Steele

I used to see Dr Steele In Traralgon many years ago, he deliverd my eldest boy 27years ago, via vaccum extraction. he also saved me, i was 14 years old when he removed my cervical cancer. I will never forget him for this. Best Dr ever!! I need to see him again.

Dr Steele cared for me throughout my first pregnancy and delivered my first child with the upmost professionalism, first class treatment and passionate application of his world of knowledge and experience. I could not have wished for a better experience of my journey including labour and recovery and most importantly my healthy baby. I have Dr Steele to thank for such a calm and rewarding effort! We will be back with Brendan and his wonderful including Bridget and Cheryl for Baby number 2!

My gp suggested I see Dr Steele for surgery but it wasn't needed. My mum did need surgery and was happy with his work. He ran to time and had nice women to talk with waiting to see him for their pregnancy.

Dr Steele delivered both of my boys (one which was premature). His easy going, relaxed nature made both of my pregnancies stress free. I could not recommend him highly enough.

We had Dr Steele look after us for my pregnancy and baby boys birth and I could not recommend him highly enough. He has a lovely bedside manner, he is very kind and caring and he was just an absolute pleasure to have as a part of the whole experience. He helped us to deliver a healthy baby boy and I will always be grateful to him for everything. An absolutely lovely man.

Dr Steele is a lovely man who delivered our baby boy. We were very impressed with him pre pregnancy & post delivery. His wife Cheryl was great & very reassuring pre & post pregnancy. I highly recommend him.

Dr Brendan Steele was very calm, easy going, soft spoken, and re-assuring. His fee is cheaper than most obs that I've asked. Appointment could be done after hours, and mostly on time. I had a quick labour so he ended up just missing the delivery, but was there to do the stitch etc. But I heard from a colleague that his C-section skill is very good too.

We had no recommendations from friends for obstetricians at Cabrini (our chosen hospital) and we picked Dr Steele simply because he was listed at Cabrini, was relatively local to us and the very limited feedback we found online was positive.
Both my husband and I are towards the older end of the age range for first time parents and work in demanding, high stress jobs, and as a result we tend to be very picky and demanding ourselves, particularly for something as important as the birth of our first child.
However we had an amazing experience with Dr Steele and couldn't recommend him highly enough. Throughout our pregnancy he would patiently and kindly answer our (long!) list of questions at each appointment, reassuring us and never make us feel stupid. When it came to the birth, following a false alarm a few days earlier our labour started naturally but became quite complicated, ending in an emergency c section. Dr Steele was there every step of the way, around the clock, even for the false alarm. We both trusted him implicitly and couldn't have felt that we were in more professional or safer hands. We will definitely be going back to Dr Steele for any future children and will recommend him to all our friends and family.

Dr Steele has a lovely bedside manor. He is honest, kind and very professional. I felt very comfortable and reassured of my care with Dr Steele. He was always on time and was very attentive and reassuring during my care. I never felt rushed and could always ring his rooms with the littlest of questions and his receptionist Cheryl (Wife) is very knowlegable and very very reassuring. Highly recommend him.
