I have been afraid of all things dental after having two of my wisdom teeth removed approx ten years ago. It was such a horrid experience, with my dentist (which I won't name) taking HOURS to get them out and then having to deal with swelling that pushed on stitches sewn too tightly, wounds that bled for days (which my dentist kept saying was normal) and six days of agonising pain which no amount of ice packs and painkillers could ease. Needless to say, it took a long time for me to build up the courage to look into getting my other two wisdom teeth removed, and finally meeting with Dr Chahoud to discuss the removal of my two remaining wisdom teeth. Almost immediately, I felt at ease with Dr Chahoud. He understood my fears and I trusted him immediately. When the day finally came, I rang Dr Chahoud because I was so nervous, and he advised me to come in a half hour early so that he could administer one Valium which I felt I desperately needed. Once the Valium had taken effect, I was sitting in that chair waiting for the local anesthetic to take effect, and his dental nurse sat with me and distracted me with small talk and funny stories. Both her and Dr Chahoud had impeccable bedside manner, and that helped me to stay calm. When Dr Chahoud began the procedure, I believe it took no more than 15 to 20 minutes to have both teeth removed and my gums stitched accordingly. I was genuinely amazed that I had not felt a thing, not even a small amount of discomfort - nothing! I feared the healing process the worst, but it could not have gone any better. Dr Chahoud prescribed a painkiller which also had a calmative in it, antibiotics to ensure no infection would occur, and also gave me his personal mobile phone number should I have any problems. I have had no problems at all. My swelling was minimal, my pain was perfectly managed by the dosage Dr Chahoud placed me on, and by following his at home instruction sheet to the letter, I feel 100%...and I only had the surgery three days ago! I could not recommend Dr Chahoud enough. This man is brilliant at what he does, and for anyone scared of dentists who need major dental work done, THIS is the man you need to seen. He was also reasonably priced, and my out of pocket expenses came to $300 in total! I can't recommend him enough. Thank you and your brilliant staff for taking such good care of me Dr Chahoud! I will be recommending you to everybody for years to come!

Dr Chahoud is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He did a great job of pulling out 6 of my teeth last year. He came recommended to me and I could definitely recommend him as well. I have had no problems since the surgery.
