Guy delivered my third and fourth child. It was also my third and fourth c sections. To say I was nervous having that many c sections is an understatement. Guy was amazing, through my pregnancy I felt so cared for. When it was time for surgery I felt I and my babies were in good hands. And we were. An amazing doctor I still talk about 12 and 15 years on.

He is very smart and acts wisely according to the situation. I am very happy to choose a friendly doctor like him. His visiting suite gives a warm experience with lovely midwives.

My little one is now 12 months old and we still talk about Dr Skinner and his team regularly with fondness. The first time we met Guy, I was not pregnant, but absolutely desperate to be a mum. His positivity, empathy for our situation and keenness to get things moving saw us through a hard time. Apart from the fact we now have a beautiful little girl, Guy and his team offered a service beyond our expectations throughout our journey to be parents. We recommend him to anyone seeking a relaxed yet smart approach. Guy has a fabulous sense of humour and can offer advice from a dad's perspective- he has quite a few children of his own. Next time around we will be heading straight back to see Guy and his very experienced and friendly midwives.

I can't recommend Dr Skinner and his practice highly enough. Guy and his staff have delivered two of my children. Guy is very professional but also has a great bedside manner. I found him to be very engaging and I never left an appointment feeling that my questions were not answered.
With regards to his practice, the staff were also very welcoming and the mid wives lovely. Guy has recently rolled out a new model where you see the mid wives at your regular appointments, with guy overseeing your overall care plan. This is an option that is cheaper than seeing Guy directly for each visit, which for my second was a great option for us. The staff are very good at explaining your eligibility for this. Great experience and great practice!

Guy has delivered all three of my children, and I've seen him as a gynaecologist as well for laparoscopic surgery. As the other positive reviewers have more eloquently stated, he is calm, matter of fact and a gentleman.
In an emergency, there isn't anyone else you'd want. When my first arrived quickly and prematurely, my husband couldn't be there. He felt reassured knowing that Guy was there for both of us and that he would be able to handle any eventuality.

We chose Guy Skinner, as he was recommended by our GP. I am now 16 weeks pregnant and was recently in a vehicle accident. Although, I knew the baby and I were Ok, my partner was very concerned and asked for me to be checked out. Guys staff were calm, re-assuring and understanding. We were invited in at any time to see Pauline (the midwife) in order to hear the heartbeat of our child. Upon arrival at the rooms, Guy optimised on a cancellation and slotted us in to see him. I cannot recommend him strongly enough! He balances concern and "silly questions" with great knowledge and confidence. He is great with the guys - with an appropriate hint of humour tied in with his consults. Although I have 24 weeks to go, I am delighted with our choice in Guy Skinner and his team!

Guy Skinner is wonderful, and he wasn't even at the birth of my child because he arrived too quickly! He is more than an obstetrician however, because of the things he didn't do! He didn't try to convince me to induce my labour after my waters broke for his own convenience! He didn't tell me I would have to have a caesarian when my baby was in breach position! He did his job perfectly; he was there AS INSURANCE my own uniquely skilled specialist on hand just in case something went wrong! I delivered my child with the assistance of my husband & and the lovely midwife. His personality is fabulous up beat and matter of fact! He is kind, gentle and funny! He is considerate of other children & partners; and he is always snazzily dressed! E also has one of the best recommendations, the midwives that work with him, go to him to have their own babies, and he is highly regarded amongst midwives and other obstetricians!!

I gave birth almost 6 months ago. Dr skinner was there all through put the birth(not just the last 10 mintites!). He was very through put the pregnancy. Would have preferred it if henscanned at every appointment however that's only because I was an anxious first time mum!
