Couldn't have asked for more from Dr Titiz. He was my Ob that I used for my last pregnancy and birth. I had to have a c-s and was scared of the unknown but I need not have as Dr Titiz was the best. I had no complications throughout my pg and the birth went without a hitch and the recovery was remarkably painless and quick. I'm sure it's all due to his ability as a surgeon and will be booking him in for my next one.

Type youI had a horrible experience with Dr Titiz due to his apathy and total mismanagement ov my pregnancy I ended up having an emergency Caesarian 5 weeks before my daughter was due. I begged him to take notice of my imense swelling and raising blood pressure but he ignored me and put it down to me being "obese" I was a size 16 when I fell pregnant!!!! My daughter had to spend 1 week in the ICU at the RBH and then another 2 weeks in special care at Northwest Hospital. I was admitted to hospital another two times after I delivered once for my blood pressure which in the end he couldn't fix so I had to see my own physician and another time for a wound infection - when the Dr placed the IV fir my antibiodics he put it in my elbow which caused a massive blood clot in my bicep when I showed Dr Titiz he didn't care!!! Again I had to go to my own physician and be put on twice daily injections of blood thinners to fix the problem. This Dr is terrible! He is the most expensive Dr at Northwest and he doesn't even bother to check you properly after your delivery. The midwives hate him, other doctors don't even comment on him and most of his other patients I spoke to while in hospital agree with me. Whatever you do please do NOT use him as your OB!
Hi brooken1, that is a horrible pg story and I'm so sorry for you. I had a similar one with my first child at Redcliffe hospital which I'll never be returning to. I just wanted to say I'm sorry you didn't have the great experience I did with Dr Titiz and I wish you the very best in finding an OB that suits your circumstances. I appreciate your comments too as I was looking for the truth when searching for an OB for my 3rd child. I love this site as it gives us a chance to tell it how it is and it just goes to show even though one person has a great experience doesn't mean it's a given that everyone will.
