Excellent food and coffee and the staff are great. There's also decent enough wi-fi so it's a good place to get work done.
A nice little stop over spot in St K and recommended for lunch. Friendly staff and a good selection of food on offer. There is a garden outside and they make fresh juices.
The best breakfast in St Kilda can be found here! Eggs benedict on beetroot smoked salmon is delicious. Great coffee and fresh juices too.
Yum Yum!! When I lived in St. Kilda, my husband and I frequently passed this place to find it packed all the time. We've been in for coffees a few times, but finally made the stop in for some Sunday brunch. Not at all disappointing. I got the smoked trout sandwich. It was good, but I would have asked for different bread. I can't really describe it, it was sweet, almost like it had fruit in it or something. But this nothing against the quality of food, more of a personal preference. My husband got a three cheese omelette with salsa verde, tomatoes, and a side of bacon. It was HUGE, we could have easily split that. When I looked around, all the portions were generously sized, so either come hungry or with a friend to share. I can't say I've gotten necessarily outstanding service when I've come, but it was basic and the servers did what they were supposed to do.
A great cafe in St Kilda. Good food and great coffee and a leafy courtyard out back. The service is swift, polite and efficient. Menu not extensive, but impressive what is produced from the tiny kitchen. Can be packed for breakfast on the weekend so be prepared to wait for a table.
A small yet vibrant bustling cafe with a high level of service, a passion for good food and ingredients, cooked to perfection, and an overall pleasant atmosphere for the grey street area, and definitely worth checking out when in st kilda.
We went here oncefor breakfast based on the good reviews it has been getting. The service was outstanding our waiter payed us lots of attention and was very funny and made it a very enjoyable experience...the food however did not - I had the salon and I have to say I could barley eat it, the salmon was so salty, the sauce was so sour and the the bread was really sweet. My boyfriend isnt exactly a picky eater (in fact he would eat nearly anything except salad) and even he couldn't eat it. It is such a shame because we would go back there just for the service. Maybe only coffees next time.
Approximate cost: $18
A fantastic cafe on Grey St in St Kilda. Always busy but the staff always remember you & your coffee. One of the better cups of coffee on St Kilda. Beautiful court yard out the back. Worth a visit.
thanks
It is comforting to know that some cafes use organic and fair trade cafe beans like this place. It is only a 10 seater cafe, but the quaint decor and beautiful food and beverage makes you overlook the shops small size.
