Dr John Regan

Amazing experience. Excellent bedside manner, kind and caring. Encouraged me to try a natural birth after being convinced I wanted a C-Sec and I’m so glad he did! After a short natural birth I was up walking around half an hour later. I highly recommend him.

Every health professional I have told about John couldn’t speak more highly of him. He has such a great reputation in the medical field. So calm and knows his stuff.
John helped me in some of my worst days. I don’t think he charges enough for the level of care and support he provides.
He delivered my little boy and I’ll be forever greatful

Dr John Regan is an incredible man and an exceptionally calm Doctor - especially perfect for first time Mom's! He makes you feel very comfortable, he's very interested in your pregnancy and makes you feel as though you are the only one he is working with! He made me feel so relaxed throughout the entire pregnancy and the birth was an amazing experience (never did i think i'd say that!) His team, Kylie, Peta and the other girls are all class A as well. Highly recommend them all as they genuinely care and want to make your experience a positive one. Thanks for everything, I'll be back when we are ready for baby #2!

He’s a nice man but didn’t seem overly interested in my pregnancy because I was not high risk. Found him a little condescending, as a first time Mum I had lots of questions and he made me feel silly for asking him. Fairly sure he wouldn’t have come to my birth if I hadn’t gone into labor unexpectedly early and he just happened to be at the hospital.
Very expensive too. And also seemed more interested in the appointments in talking to my husband.
I saw a different OB for number two and felt listened to and had all of my birth preferences accommodated and couldn’t have been happier.
John is a nice man but just not my cup of tea.

Nearly 18 years ago, this wonderful man delivered our baby girl, and placed her, wide-eyed and staring at me, in my arms, after a 22 hour and dramatic labour. She just didn't want to come out! And then she was so present (a gift too, after 6 years of trying to fall pregnant).
We were so lucky to have John, a caring, lovely guy. Glad to hear that so many have been fortunate to have him on their team.

John is incredible. We had a couple of issues with my pregnancy and issues during the birth as well, John was incredibly supportive and extremely professional. He supported us as a couple and looked after me all the way through with such calm confidence I never felt worried, for a ftm this is vital. Can't recommend him and his lovely support staff enough!

Dr. John Regan is one of the most caring, understanding, cooperative doctors in addition to being excellent at what he does.

I saw him for my second pregnancy during which a member of our family faced a very critical health situation. Dr. Regan worked with us through this tough period and adjusted birth arrangement, etc.

I found him to be very understanding and supportive. Also, he worked very closely with us to make the birth plan to be exactly what we wanted and not pushing his opinion on us.

Similarly I found Lynn (who works in his rooms) very kind, helpful and understanding. She is very polite and takes the time to answer any questions, concerns and also very caring too.

I highly recommend them and would not go anywhere else.

John has delivered both my boys and on all occasions I have found him super relaxed and very approachable. He did everything I asked of him, including coming in to hospital on the morning of his overseas holiday departure (baby 1) and coming in the middle of the night (baby 2) when I hemorrhaged after both births.

Excellent, Fantastic what more can I say, John Regan recently delivered my twins, after a very unpleasant first experience with my first son, born in the UK, complicated due to a blood condition I have. I had every faith in John from the moment I met him, that everything would be ok this time, and I would get through it to be there for my twins and my experience was fantastic. I wish I could have had him deliver my first child too. He is the best!

I am very disappointed as my husband and I trusted this Obstetrician who seemed very caring and understanding and always supportive of my strong wish to birth my baby as naturally as possible. I feel terribly let down and betrayed and ended up with a very traumatic birth experience that I still suffer from to this day four months later. I was treated like a minor without decision making in the labour ward once I agreed to one intervention the "cascade of interventions" was unstoppable. I ended up being so "drugged up" that I hardly remember anything about my baby's birth except feelings of fear and distress before she was "pulled' out of me.
In saying that I give Dr. Regan a lot of credit on the other hand for being one of a few Obstetricians as I have been told not to 'mutilate' women unnecessarily, as with me when my baby was distressed and was delivered via forceps. All in all I am saying he is a very good choice as it is with most Obstetricians in this country if you believe in a highly medicalised birth and don't mind interventions at all.

Fantastic! John has delivered two of my three babies if only i had met him for the first. Great doctor, lovely man what more could you ask for?

I also cannot recommend john enough. I'm back for baby number 2, with a miscarriage in between. During the miscarriage john was more caring and supportive than you could hope for. He is friendly and attentive, his staff are also fantastic.

If you are looking for a caring, professional and warm OBGYN wiht an excellent bedside manner look no further then John Regan. I would not consider going to see anyone else. I couldnt have done it without him. I was referred to another well known dr but just didnt feel the same. His staff is also very helpful so you can ring and ask any questions. So dont waste your time going to see anyone else. Taylah.

I am currently using Dr Regan as my Obs and he is fantastic. He is caring and kind and very gentle. Just what I need with my first pregnancy.

What a wonderful man Dr John Regan is. We have recentley had our twin daughters with John, and have enjoyed the Dr/Patient relationship.
Warm, caring, with a brilliant bedside manner, this Dr was certainly a cut above the rest. He was worth every cent. If you're wanting a dr who will listen, and a dr who cares, then go no further than Dr Regan. A brilliant chap, and wonderful Dr. My husband was equally as thrilled with John. We have visited other obs before, and been rushed through appointments etc, and then we were referred to Dr Regan. A friend of mine also used him, after interviewing 10 different Ob's, and she said he was a stand out, and uncomparable to the other big named ob/gyno's. You won't be dissapointed with this choice.

I can't recommend John and is team more highly. John listened to me and always explained everything to me in a non patronising and information way. He genuinely cares about his patients and I know for sure there was no way I would have gotten through my pregnancy without John's support. There is no way I would go to anyone else but John in the future for all my gynaecological and obstetrics needs. FIVE STARS

We absolutely and whole heartedly recommend John Regan. He is the only person to see. He is the most calm, caring and gentle doctor with an excellent bedside manner. He makes you feel like you are his only patient, that's how important you and your bubba are to him. He is great with the guys as well as the girls. He gave wonderful guidance throughout my long labour and I am very happy with all decisions we made together. He explained everything every step of the way which enabled my husband and me to make informed decisions. I wouldn't consider going to anyone else. If you see John, you're in the best of care.

John is the most amazingly special man. We had a miscarriage at 13 weeks with our first bubby and he was like an angel in the way he treated my husband and I. He is the most caring, gentle, competant and reassuring Dr that I have ever met. John has since delievered our daughter (4kgs) in 2005 and our son (4.6kgs!) in 2007. I am now pregnant with bubby number 3 and wouldn't have thought about going to anyone other than John. Even when he is running way behind schedule, when you get into his room he never make you feel rushed. I could not recommend anyone more highly.

I had Dr. John for my OB & I cannot speak more highly of him. He is a calm, beautiful person & maintains complete professionalism all while making you feel as though you are the only person in the world that matters. He was extremely thoughtful to both my husband & myself & when bubby came along, he treated him as an idividual too. I will absolutely be going back to him again.

I have had two babies one quite premmy at 33 weeks and a miscarriage his manner and care made you feel like you were the only patient he had. I am now pregnant with my third and called him straight away. My husband would not go anywhere else either!!

I had dr regan as my obstertrician, and what can i say . he is just wonderful. i was quite nervouse about the whole pregnancy and he made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole thing.. a loveley dedicated man with wonderful staff and he is worth every cent. i will be going back with my next childeren.

Dr John Regan, what a special person! I warmed to him the first time I met him. He has a warm calming, approach and is informative when he feels the time is right. He was very supportive and friendly to both myself and my husband. Our little baby came into the world safe in John's hands.

John was amazing to deal with.. I had a very difficult pregnancy and with his assurance help and constant support I had a beautiful healthy boy.. I couldn't recommend a better Doctor.. he is amazing!!

I first went to John as my OB for my first born. I was immediately at ease with his calm, encouraging demeanour. A lot of people I know don't say positive things about their obstetricians but I don't have a bad thing to say about John.

He has delivered both of our babies and made the effort to get into the hospital quickly.
