Dr Miranda Robinson

Dr Miranda Robinson is a truly amazing OBGYN!! I would most definitely recommend Miranda to any woman looking for a Doctor who genuinely cares for her patients and is really willing to go the extra mile. I had complications following an endometrial ablation but Miranda was onto it straight away, admitting me herself late at night and ensuring I got the very best medical care at St Vincent’s Private, Fitzroy. I recovered very quickly and am very grateful that I was in the care of such a knowledgeable OBGYN, one that truly listens and takes on her patients concerns when things don’t just seem right.

Miranda was amazing! Delivered our baby boy William in August 2020 during the pandemic and lockdown at Epworth! She was amazing, super calm and supportive. After a longgggggg labour and no progression and listening to me not wanting any pain relief ( of which I ended up taking) we had an epi and still no progression so after 26 hours had a c section. I felt so calm, relaxed and even put some makeup on before it! Had the best experience meeting our little man! We even kept the sex a surprise so it was so special. I have healed so so well!! Tiny scar and so happy! Looking forward to baby number 2 with Miranda!!

Miranda is an exceptional obstetrician and I could not recommend her more highly. I found her to be extremely patient, kind, empathetic and with a wonderful bedside manner. She was also thorough, was most attentive to detail and balanced evidence based care with being a real advocate for me. She always made me feel calm and listened to.

I feel that it is so important to have an obstetrician who you can trust and who advocates for you, especially at such a vulnerable time. Therefore, as a doctor, my confidence in Miranda also extends to great trust and comfort in referring my patients to her, especially those who are feeling vulnerable or who require someone who is particularly sensitive and kind.

Miranda delivered our identical twin boys back in January. I could not recommend her highly enough! [redacted clinical content] professionalism coupled with her warm personality kept me calm and confident throughout [redacted clinical content]. We are so fortunate and grateful to have had Miranda as our OB.

I have seen Miranda at the Austin for Family Planning as well as the Mercy for the birth of two of my daughters. Miranda is an exceptional doctor. She is personable [redacted clinical content]. My situations were not easy to deal with and at one stage, Miranda was very concerned about the outcome. However, she was so calm and professional throughout I had no idea how worried she was! There are not many OB/GYNs out there with Miranda's professionalism as well as AMAZING bedside manner. I would not go to anyone else.

Miranda delivered our little baby Girl back in September. She was absolutely amazing and made me feel calm throughout the entire labor. She was there from beginning till the very end. Very professional with a sense of humor that made you feel like you had a great friend looking after you throughout the journey. Definitely will be coming back if we are blessed again

Miranda is a calm and experienced obstetrician who was able to keep me calm when I was nervous. I developed a few health complications in my third trimester. Miranda was patient when explaining all the options and made sound recommendations in line with our birth plan. The labour n birth experience was a bit of a roller coaster ride as baby's heart rate kept fluctuating but Miranda stayed back for a few hours and made sure that we are not rushed into a c-section. I was able to deliver my baby girl with a little bit of assistance but avoided a c-section. I would highly recommend Miranda as she is a great medical professional.

Miranda is an amazing obstrician! I could not recommended her highly enough. She is kind, supportive,great sense of humour and makes you feel like its going to be ok when things dont go quite to plan. We were lucky to have her as our obstrician

My hubby says to me that what really got me through the pregnancy is my trust,confidence and believe in my doctor.My baby is most preciuos thing in my life and his safety, well being and welcome in the world was done by my fav doctor.

Miranda delivered my bub in June 2014. She was exceptionally kind and gentle.
She was actually on call as my obstetrician not available but I felt confident and immediately liked her from the moment I met her! Highly recommend her and the group of women in her practice.
Also loved the nurses/ lactation consultants and facilities at SVP.

Miranda made an anxious time in our lives so manageable. Her professional and knowledgeable manner gave us 100% faith in her and the smooth birth of our baby girl. I highly recommend Miranda and will be returning to her for our next child.

We specifically sought out an obstetrician who looked after high risk patients. I have a bicornuate uterus and our pregnancy was IVF. Our GP highly recommended Miranda. I am so glad she did. Our fears were realised when my cervix shortened at 22 weeks + 6 days. Miranda had me admitted to hospital where I was put on bed rest for almost 5 weeks - initially at St V's Private and then at the Mercy. Miranda acted quickly to get me to the Mercy because it has a NICU unit. Fortunately, I was able to be admitted under her care. At both hospitals, it quickly became clear how highly regarded Miranda was. Throughout my time in hospital, Miranda made me feel like I was her only patient. She had an excellent bedside manner and her support was exactly what we needed at such a stressful time. She was easily accessible and I saw her often. I went into labour at 27+3 weeks. Miranda responded quickly to my phone call and delivered our baby girl by emergency c-section. Easily the most stressful and terrifying experience I have had and probably will ever have. Miranda made the world of difference. She gave us confidence and encouragement. I will never be able to thank her or recommend her highly enough.

Amazing Miranda. I cant recommend Miranda more highly, she was always warm, friendly and supportive. Miranda provided us with the highest level of care, always ensuring we were well informed of how our pregnancy was progressing. Appointments with Miranda were always relaxed (I never felt rushed) and Miranda took the time to listen to what we felt was important and aimed to promote a postive birth experience. Miranda was definately the perfect obstetrician for us, and I would recommend her to anyone.

From my first appointment through to my last, I feel that Miranda never left my side. As an obstetrician Miranda was outstanding! Highly qualified, she knew all the ins and outs of pregnancy, what to look for, was cautious without being concerned and personable. I felt her expertise had prepared her for any situation possible to ensure that the health of my baby and myself was first and for-most. On an emotional level, Miranda continued to work far beyond what was required of her. My situation was a little different to others and I was going through bereavement at the same time of the delivery. Miranda's support, warmth and genuine concern made my birth experience beautiful. Her post natal care was just as superb as her pre natal. I can't recommend Miranda highly enough! So many of my friends saw Miranda at work and now they are all enlisting her as their obstetrician for when they fall pregnant.

As a first time mum, I was always going to have lots of questions and be nervous. Miranda was awesome ALL the time. I absolutely loved our appointments- I always felt like I was catching up with friend. I always felt i gutted and rally relaxed about my pregnancy. I felt like I could have frank and honest discussions with Mirabda, especially as the time drew nearer. After giving my birth, my husband turned to me and said, 'I'm so glad Miranda was with us, I was scared but she rally got us through that- worth every $!' Ha ha men!!! We loved Miranda!! If we go around again, #2 will be delivered by Miranda!

We couldn't recommend Miranda more highly. Not only is she an expert in her field, but she was also very warm and supportive during our pregnancy & birth experience. She provided us with different options in terms of how we wanted to approach the birth and picked up a potential complication which occurred late in our pregnancy. We had to be induced just before the due date due to this and Miranda took complete care to ensure we had a healthy baby - and healthy mum.

Miranda is a wonderful obstetrician who provided excellent care throughout my first pregnancy and the delivery of my baby girl! My GP referred me to Miranda for my obstetric care and I could not be happier with the recommendation. Miranda has a warm personality and a compassionate bedside manner. I enjoyed my pre- and post- natal visits and would not hesitate to visit Miranda again for subsequent pregnancies.

Could not have wished for a better doctor to deliver my baby boy. Very professional and awesome bedside manner. I was a little concerned as my ob had gone on leave the day I went in to labour but I shouldn't have been. Miranda was fantastic. I recommend her to anyone who asks me. Would happily have Miranda deliver another baby for me, but I'm definitely finished at 3 ;-)

Miranda is only ever described as an angel when I share my experience during pregnancy and labour as a first time mum. I found it hard to enjoy my pregnancy due to severe anxiety about labour. I have dealt with fear of labour since a very young age. Miranda had a calming and caring bedside manner, assuring me that my fears and wishes would be heard during labour (assuming no emergencies, etc). Every single visit I had with her she patiently listened to me (I pretty much repeated same story/concerns every visit) and tried to keep me as calm as possible. Even still, I did not completely trust that my fears would be taken seriously by other staff. Fast forward to "labour day", she advocated for me when (as feared) she came up against other doctors/midwives who did not believe I required any special treatment. This was my biggest fear, that when it came time to labour I would be forced to do/experience things that I did not feel I could handle. She promised me she "would not let me down" and she didn't - I will never forget those words. My bub boy is now 8 weeks and we recently went in to visit to say thank you. I can't look at her or even tell my story without crying - all happy tears. I don't think she will ever understand how grateful I am. I can genuinely say I had a wonderful birth experience and have her to thank for it. I recommend Miranda to anyone who will listen.

Miranda is a great obstetrician who received high praise from the midwife running the birth and parenting class we attended at St Vincent's. More importantly, she is calming, practical and funny person that you'll enjoy visiting throughout your pregnancy. We were both sad she was not able to deliver our baby in the end but her pre and post care were wonderful and I would definitely choose her again in the future...maybe in a few years.

Amazing Dr who guided me through my pregnancy and the birth of my daughter with such a calming manner that I felt 110% safe in her hands. I had a long labour, pre eclampsia and all the bells and whistles but still had a magical natural birth.

A wonderful caring Obstetrician who looked after all my questions / concerns during the pregnancy & delivery by cesarean. I certainly will hopefully use Miranda again.
