Dr Shilton has delivered both my girls - the first by emergency c/section and the 2nd by elective c/section. His bedside manner is fantastic, he is on time for majority of appointments, his receptionist is fantastic and his prices are affordable. We love Dr Shilton and are shattered to think he won't be delivering any of our future babies as he's retiring in 2011.

Dr Shilton is the only obgyn I'd want close to me for my pre and post natal care (and during the delivery of course!). He has delivered both of my children - both times we had complications which he navigated expertly and with the utmost care. He has a quirky sense of humour and is very straight-forward (sometimes blunt). He is not a worrier at all and adopts a "we'll worry about it if it happens" approach. But that is not to say that he is lax on his overall care, because he is extremely thorough. His sessions go as long as you need and his mini-ultrasound machine means that you get to check in on your little jellybean at every visit (not just at key moments in its development). His prices are very competitive and his receptionist (Sue) is also caring and very helpful. I can't recommend him highly enough and will be making a beeline straight to his office door if we ever fall pregnant again!

Fabulous obstetrician. Has a lot of time for you in the check-ups, and will answer any questions in a simple manner. Does a mini scan every time you see him, which is always great to see! Patient, laid-back, happy to follow your birth plan. Great secretary on the front desk!

Dr Shelton was the stand in doctor, who delivered my twins, never meet him before, but he was very professional and the delivery was very smooth, he is based at the sunnybank private hospital, convenient with having scans and blood test as everything is under one roof.
