Dr Saul Cohen

He saved my Sons life! I had Ppromed at 20 weeks and was in and out of hospital until 30 weeks. I went in for my usual check and I was not feeling well. Dr. Saul made sure my Son was monitored and delivered ASAP. Thank you You saved his life! He is now, almost 4years old and the light of our lives.

I first met Dr Cohen at the emergency department of a private hospital. I was having severe pain which was found to be caused by a growth in the uterus. As I have never spoken to him before, the first impression of him was a calm, patient and caring man. He sat down to go through with me my options. Through talking to him, I knew I could trust him with my surgery.
I underwent hysterectomy the next day. He is a perfect surgeon and he has a marvellous surgical team. The anaesthetist was wonderful as she patiently explained everything to me prior to the surgery and checked if I had any questions. The surgical nurses were also wonderful.
I also received excellent post surgery care as he came to see me each day in the hospital to ensure that I was recovering well and that the nurses were giving me the correct medication.
I could not say anything else but praise for Dr Cohen and thank God that he was meant to operate on me.

Dr Saul Cohen was put on this earth to delivery babies! Upon meeting Saul, it was clear that beyond being highly skilled and professional, he was a caring human being. Pregnancy and Birthing is sacred, and you want someone you can put your trust in. Saul listens to you, treats you with compassion and care, and is brilliant at every step of the journey.

Dr Cohen, very caring and loving soul and amazing OB. As a first time mom, I was very nervous and anxious but he made the journey very easy. I highly highly recommend him.

I had a long labour and Saul kept popping in regularly to check up on me/reassure us and keep us calm...and even post birth, he would pop in while I was in hospital to check up on us too.

would give him 20 out of 10 and no, that's not a typo. He is professional,
very reassuring, approachable and always ready to answer any questions. His
beside manner is excellent and I felt that I was very lucky to have him
both during the pregnancy and during the delivery. I liked the way that he
dealt with both myself and Baby.

Having recently moved to Australia I was lucky I found Dr Saul Cohen to be at my side during the last few weeks of my pregnancy and the birth of our third child. He answered all my questions with great patience and he always took time to listen to me and made sure I was feeling well taken care of.
The birth experience was lovely. As it was our third child and everything went very smoothly he anticipated our wish to have as little intervention as possible and created a very peaceful atmosphere. He finally stepped in to welcome the baby and to check quickly if all was ok. Right after that we had time in private to welcome our new baby into this world. It was wonderful and in hindsight almost romantic. Thanks Saul for this wonderful experience.

I recommend Dr Saul Cohen highly. He has been incredibly hands on from the minute you're pregnant to the when you deliver. He is very approachable and warm natured.
Dr Cohen is present for hours at a time in delivery and he gives his best to make sure you have a healthy delivery and baby.

We are so very glad that we followed up on this recommendation because being in the care of Saul for this pregnancy was a thoroughly positive experience at each and every step. I think that at the nucleus of our positive experience was the fact that Saul took time to get to know me, to understand my relationship with my partner and what kind of people we were. This meant that the advice that he gave us along the way was always perfect for us. Saul was accessible, approachable, friendly and kind. There was no such thing as a stupid question. I'm beyond impressed with Dr. Saul Cohen and have had nothing but positive experiences with him over the past 4 years.
I find him to be a knowledgeable Obstetrician/Gynaecologist who is easy to approach about women's health issues.
He is caring, thorough and patient - continually takes time to listen to my concerns and makes sure questions are answered in a way I can understand.
Throughout my pregnancy he was exceptional and I always felt safe and informed.
On all occasions appointments have been on time and the rooms are of a high standard.

Choosing Dr Saul Cohen as the obstetrician for my second pregnancy was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

He has a warm and friendly personality which made me feel comfortable when asking questions. He is very reliable and committed to his work. I had a few concerns during pregnancy which Dr Cohen attended to promptly. He owns an ultrasound machine which was great as I can see the development of the baby during my visits, and any concerns can be thoroughly checked.

During birth, Dr Cohen's attendance was crucial and comforting. He encouraged me to keep pushing during second stage labour reminding me of my birth wish to have an intervention free birth. He used natural methods to minimise the chance of tearing. Thanks to his support I managed to give birth to a healthy big boy (4.53kg) naturally. Both the baby and I are doing well.

I was also very happy with the Cabrini Hospital. The hospital provided excellent 24/7 midwife support, delicious food catering and useful extra services such as paediatrician, physiotherapist and breastfeeding consultants. For our third and fourth night, we were transferred to the Como Hotel in South Yarra which was great. The hotel room was very comfortable and the food was also delicious. With 24/7 midwife support the stay at Como was perfect for the recovery stage.

I highly recommend Dr Saul Cohen and the Cabrini Malvern to any pregnant ladies out there. They're worth every penny spent. You won't regret it.
