I met Dr Bushati at Bankstown public hospital. I had my first baby 3 years ago by vacuum delivery. I had a terrible experience and I wanted a Caesarean this time around. I made an appointment to see a specialist at Bankstown hospital who spent only 30 sec with me and said ‘no you can't have a Caesarean'. I was in tears. Jane, one of the midwifes, saw me and advised me to make an appointment to see Dr Bushati, and I did. I took my mum along to this appointment as I wanted her to be there ‘just in case' .

Dr Bushati took time to listen to me and understand my fears; baby may be too big, I will be again in a lot of pain, I may need to have another vacumm delivery etc. He spent almost an hour listen to my concerns and addressed all of these giving me the reassurance I needed. Two weeks later I went into labour under Dr Bushati's care. I had an early epidural (thank God no pain at all!) and ended up having a beautiful boy through a natural delivery with no pain and not even a tear. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Dr Bushati was empathetic, very professional and patient – exactly what I needed!. I can't recommend him highly enough
