Dr T was my obstetrician for two pregnancies. Very laid back - feel comfortable asking questions. Great sense of humour - keeps things light. Present for delivery of my first baby. Low intervention approach. Was disappointed by post-labour follow-up - nil with first baby! Was not examined in hospital. Could have been fault of hospital though. Would have appreciated him being more proactive in providing information about pregnancy, labour and risks of being induced - found I had to do much of the research. Was surprised to find he had already booked me in to be induced without discussing it with me - on reflection, i felt pressured to commit to it on the spot without thinking it through first. His mid-wife, Anne, is lovely and very approachable.

I thought Dr Tuicolo was cuddly looking and relaxed. He is very happy to let things progress naturally but will look after you if things don't go as smoothly as you'd hoped. I will definately be going back to him for our second child.

Dr Tuicolo is probably not as expensive as some other obstetricians. I get the feeling that he wouldn't interfere just for the sake of his convenience. And he would let you try a VBAC if you want.
