Dr Karlov was very helpful and examined me and got my MRI scans done the next day.
I wasn't expecting how caring and supportive a doctor could be to his patient.
He has a very positive attitude and puts a smile on your face even if you are in severe pain.
I would highly recommend Dr Karlov.

Dr Karlov is not a Rheumatologist.

I was referred by GP to see Dr. Karlov. Although I had to wait to see him as he was fully booked. Upon meeting him I instantly felt here is someone who will listen to me and he did!! I found his sense of humour amazing ,the time he took to explore all possibilities of what might be wrong with me explained in a term i could understand was amazing. I have never had the same attention to detail delivered from any other Dr. I am so grateful for his expertise and knowledge and caring nature. I could not recommend more highly. A true genius! Dr. Karlov helped me so much with my medical conditions and after having to move and not being able to see him anymore I have gone backwards in a big way and the doctors just don't seem to care. I was spoilt by the best and now I've been left to the rest to just suffer in pain and being told that I just have to learn to put up with the pain as I suffer many painful conditions that Dr. Karlov was able to manage as he genuinely cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to get to the root of the problem/s and provide what you require to have a quality of life ..... Now without him I just exist, I have no life as the pain i suffer is so severe and I've been told I just have to live with it!!!! It was Dr. Karlov who told me it was his job to give me a life and one of quality and that he did and for the period of time I was seeing him and I thank him so much for that

Doctor karlov referred me to orthopaedic surgeon for my hip and I only waited 6-8 months for my hip replacement. He also referred me to orthopaedic surgeon for my shoulder and I only waited for about 3 months go my operation he’s definitely the best

I do not recommend Dr Karlov. I came along to my mum's appointment in order to translate for her. After waiting for 1 hour, he gave my mum one of the MRI results she was after. When we asked for the second MRI results, he said they were not important at this stage. He stood up, opened the door, and waived us out while we were still seeking further clarification of my mum's results. When I asked him if he had read the report for the second MRI, he said (sarcastically) "of course I have, while you and your mum were 'chatting'". He knows well that I was there to translate. He said this is not a 'shopping centre'. Again, he knows very well I was there to translate. I only relayed medical information to my mum during the consultation. Not once did we talk about anything else. My mum has been agonising over these MRI results for the last 2 months, and after 1 hour of waiting, he could not be courteous enough to spare another 3 minutes to put my mum's mind at ease. Mind you, we were in his room for 8 minutes in total. I'm sure another 2-3 minutes would not have hurt anyone. He basically kicked us out of his room! We stepped out to reception absolutely bewildered by the way he was treating us. I said to the receptionist that he was rude and I don't want my mum's results to be sent to him anymore. When he heard this, he snatched the referrals from my hand and said "go see someone else then". At that point I told him (in front of other patients) how rude, condescending and sarcastic he has been to us.

My mum has been wanting to be transferred to another specialist for a long time due to his continuously rude behaviour. I understand medical doctors are extremely busy and have enormous responsibilities, but this should not stand in the way of a patient's right to access their medical information and to be thoroughly informed of their medical condition.

I believe Dr Karlov is extremely unprofessional and very rude. I intend to complain to the Australian Medical Association and to his employer with regards to his general attitude and his failing to provide my mother with adequate medical treatment/advice.

Dr Karlov, is one of the most genuine Specialists I have ever met and through the years I have been to many, he is caring and considerate and he really feels for his patients, he is very knowledgable and a great help, would recommend great guy.
