I started learning to drive for the first time in my 40s. I tried NRMA first but it didn't work out (mainly because of scheduling problems) and I was pretty frustrated when a friend recommended Mereyal from DriveTime.

Mereyal is AMAZING. I can't praise her highly enough. My partner doesn't drive either, so I didn't get a lot of time practicing outside of lessons, but I got enough from Mereyal's lessons to pass my test.

She's a fantastic teacher - patient, calm, very clear instructions, lots of great little tips which make all the techniques much easier. She obviously really cares about her students and she worked really hard to build my confidence and skill. She's also a very interesting and nice person and great to chat to, so I enjoyed our lessons a lot.

When I went for my test I felt completely ready and passed with only one minor error. I recommend her 100%, especially to older learners who might be nervous, like I was.

I learned to reverse park the way she teaches made it seem easy and she helped me get ready for my licence test and booked my test with the RMS for me.
Mereyal took me for a warm up lesson before the test so that I was not nervous at all when I started the test. Great driving school.
