Throughout the numerous consultations that followed, Dr Harry Marget showed a reassuring determination that the outcome of the treatment would be the best possible. His enthusiastic, personable manner underplays a remarkably comprehensive level of knowledge and experience. In addition, Dr Marget achieved the unachievable – treatment totally without pain.

The first rate professional conduct of other clinical practitioners ( - for x-rays, hygienist -) at the East Bentleigh Dental Group was beyond reproach.

My first visit to the East Bentleigh Dental Group was excellent, I have a fairly severe dental phobia which was put at ease from the word go.
They have a great understanding of dental phobia and make you feel confident in getting your teeth fixed.
Having just returned from my second appointment of getting my teeth cleaned and 3 fillings, even though it was personally very uncomfortable for me, the Dentist recognised this and decided to only clean my top teeth and leave the bottom for another appointment as she could see how uncomfortable I was, and said this very early in the treatment to appease me rather than leave me hanging (huge relief).
Do I want to go back (honestly no, but I don't want to go to any dentist, ever).
However, I will go back because they do seem to care about the patient, more so than any other dentist I've been to. And once all my work has been done, I'm pretty sure I'll continue to go to them (Maybe even regularly??), for check ups, etc. as so far they've been very good to me.
I highly recommend them to anyone with a dental phobia.

I attended EBDG after a year of avoiding the dentist. I knew I needed a lot of work done and was petrified of every aspect from needles to cost. My first consult was easy and I was reassured that I could get the work done in one session through an intravenous dental sedation. So I returned to get all of the work done in one sitting. Once I was sedated I can not remember anything. I woke up a couple of hours later pain free and with all of the work done (fillings, and an extraction).
Obviously there is a cost involved but for the time and stress that it saved me I was more than happy to pay what i did for the work and the sedation. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is stressed and anxious about their treatment as you will not feel or remember a thing.
The care and concern that EBDG showed was beyond any dental practice I have ever attended.
I had private health cover the helped with the cost of the treatment as well, yet I still think the price was reasonable for the end result.
I will definitely be returning when further treatment is needed.

I used to be terrified of visiting the dentist. I pretty much avoided check ups as much as possible but when I started experiencing severe tooth pain I knew I had to deal with it. I found East Bentleigh Dental Group after searching google for dentists who could deal with patient anxiety! I didn't really believe I could ever be comfortable at the dentist but gave it a shot. I was lucky enough to see Dr Harry Marget who goes to great lengths to make patients comfortable, even relaxed! (I know it doesn't sound possible for those with dental phobia, but believe me, it's true!) Even needles are rendered painless through use of a device that massages your cheek so that you can't even feel the injection. No matter what you fear about the dentist, Harry has a way to deal with it. Thanks to EBDG I no longer fear dental visits at all, for which I am extremely grateful. I would highly recommend the practice to absolutely everyone, but especially those with anxiety. Just speak to the staff about your concerns and they will take great care of you.

Bad experiences I am sure everyone has had with a dentist. Mine were so bad that I chose to boycott going to the dentist for about 12/13 years. Obviously after this period of time, something had to give - and it did. So after some research on good ol google, I came across a Dr Harry of the East Bentleigh Dental Group and decided I would give this guy a go, and boy am I glad that I did! Sure, I had a few fillings to get - but no sound of the nasty drill for me. Dr Harry has some technologically advance gadget that made a zap/zapping noise instead (I'm pretty sure he called it a laser), the experience was different - one that allowed me to get accustomed to something completely different. Not only have I been taught the importance of good oral hygiene, but Dr Harry changed my life. Nutshell: I gave up smoking, I now floss every day, my diet has improved, I exercise more and as a result I'm getting more out of life. Plus, with my private health insurance chipping in - it isn't too stressful on my wallet.. not yet anyway....

All my family have started to see Dianne Wiseman at the East Bentleigh Dental group. Dianne is great; she is friendly, caring, always explains what she is doing and provides you with options. The whole service is run very professional with appointment reminders and recalls and direct billing with your private health insurance.

I started seeing Dr. Harry Marget at East Bentleigh Dental Group recently; the experience is unbelievable; all my teeth have been restored to their former glory (no more heavy metal amalgam fillings) this totally changes your mind about dentists; hygienically spotless clinics, medically advanced, kind and very clever medical team, pain free needles, superior results. I was new to Melbourne and selected this dentist based on the WOMO reviews. I can confirm that all the other positive reviews are accurate. No regrets, excellent level of care. I wish I had found them years ago.

I suffer from a severe gagging reflex that makes a lot of dental procedures very difficult for me. I first went to East Bentleigh Dental Clinic when I needed a crown for a tooth on the lower back of my mouth. With my gagging reflex this would usually mean having to have the procedure done at a day hospital under general anaesthetic, which is a very costly process. Fortunately East Bentleigh Dental Clinic have developed sleep dentistry & are also skilled in numbing up the entire palate which is able to overcome my natural gagging impulse. At East Bentleigh I was able to have the procedure done in the chair.
I'd strongly recommend anyone suffering from a gagging impulse or even bad nerves to try East Bentleigh Dental Group. They really understand the problems suffered by a lot of patients & have developed the methods to make each appointment simple & painless.
They also have very modern equipment, such as a state of the art x-ray machine in the dental surgery itself, which immediately provides scans & which is cost-free as it's bulk billed with Medicare
