I recently purchased a medium sized 2nd hand fridge from Eastern Homewares for a corporate shared kitchen. The guys in the shop were really helpful and honest and delivery was arranged without any fuss. Delivery was made on the day and during the time specified, and a call to confirm delivery was made that day. Highly recommended.

My washing machine had broken and I was looking for a new one, I am a Disability Pensioner so i had to get a Centrelink loan and had a budget of $500. I bought a Westinghouse reconditioned machine from them and have had troubles since the 1st day, The 1st load the water came out black, after doing a couple of "Dry runs" finally got it clear. The 4th day it was making a noise, so I called and they came around and "fixed" it 2 days later. It had a 3 mth warranty and sure enough right after the warranty ran out it started squealing. Would NEVER go back.

Terribly disappointed with this company. They underquoted the cost to repair my Engel fridge (I was originally expecting around $200, they quoted $475 which I agreed to and when I went to pick it up it was $540. I complained about the higher price when I went to pick it up, but to no avail. It took 2.5 weeks for them to turn around this job and I had to keep calling them. I cut them some slack as they had a funeral to attend but I would have thought 1 week would be enough time to fix it. I told them I was not a happy customer. Certainly will not use them again.

The staff are attentive, friendly and know what they're talking about. I bought a new washing machine from them and they delivered it for me and took away the old machine! Great service! They also do repairs and sell a big range of new and used white goods.

I have purchased a number of items from Eastern Homewares over the years. All great products. Their 12 month warranty is great, but I have never needed it as the items I have purchased are still going strong, including a side by side matching refridgerator and freezer many years ago.
I have recommended them to many friends and have they are also very happy with their purchases as well. I can't recommend them highly enough. There are not many of the 'Old School' businesses left any more, where the customer is treated like a real person instead of a number or just a 'sale'. The guys at this store are always happy and only too happy to give you old fashioned, genuine caring service plus good quality products.

I have bought several things from here including a washing machine and fridge. Nearly everything is either scratched or reconditioned, but they give you a one year warranty and have had noo problems. ( I couldn't even find the scratch on my washer)
