Proper shop on street level now.
Maybe a little bit pricey but repaired my waterlogged Samsung S6 Edge (fairly new) so still significantly cheaper than buying new phone. Called in at 5.15pm and it was fixed while I did a bit of shopping and had a cuppa. Cleaned up corrosion inside and had to replace the wrecked battery. Working like new now so I'm delighted - nothing lost.

Value for money repair for my iPhone home button.

My iPhone 4G home button had been playing up for about 6 months. It was very frustrating and I had tried all the tricks online to no avail. When I pressed it, it either wouldnt respond at all or would take about 3-4 seconds.

I called these guys up from a google search and was surprised that a replacement home button would only be $35. I turned up at about 4.30 just before they closed. They sat me in a couch and I had a drink of water from their watercooler while they opened up my phone. The tech (also one of the owners I found out) explained to me what was going on and showed my the broken part of my home button. Then he showed me the replacement part and what he was going to do to fix it. I was really impressed at his level of customer service and asked him why. He said it was a tough market with lots of competitors so he wanted to make sure his customers were happy. I then found out he has a few contracts with SMEs fixing their phone fleets. At 5.00pm it was all done and to my amazement my home button actually started working again. It was still a bit slow but that was due to all the apps I have, the hardware issue seemed to be completely fixed. I havent had trouble with it since. That was about 2-3 months ago.
