Used to be known as Eddy's Sewing Machine Centre, and the fabric store attached used to be known as Possum Patch.
They sell sewing machines and over lockers, and most importantly, repair them as well.
I took my machine in to have the needle threader replaced today - they had to order the part in, and they let me know it had arrived. When I collected it a short time later, they told me they hadn't had to replace it, just re-align the existing one. They gave me the option of buying the replacement one, in case Murphy's Law hit, and the existing one breaks tomorrow! When they told me the cost, I was only too happy to buy it - I'd been expecting a bill of around $85 - cost, $10 for the new threader, labour nil! If I'd chosen not to buy the replacement part, I wouldn't have paid anything at all.
I was really impressed - plenty of people would've just kept their mouths shut and just charged me for the part regardless.
There's plenty of metered parking right outside, so you don't have to carry a heavy machine too far, and the gentleman offered to carry it back to the car for me anyway.
As I mentioned earlier, there's also a great fabric store attached, with a huge range of quilting fabric and supplies.
