This place was very modern. It was quirky. The food was good and the prices were average. The whole experience this place orders it's diners is enjoyable.

Great tasting burgers and chips, a must go to if you're in the footscray area. Service is good, burgers come out relatively quickly. What's awesome is you can see your burger being cooked as the kitchen is quite open

We stopped here for lunch so it wasn't too busy. Nice short menu, good selection. We were served fast and waited 10 minutes for our food. The best burger I have ever had in my life. We had the double dragon, the 8bit cheese and onion rings. Funky set-up, great friendly staff. The burgers were super fresh, lots of toppings, even the bun was tasty. Well worth the trip if you're not from the west. Definitely will be back and I hope their pop-up venture keeps going.

I visited 8bit a few days ago when my friends and I all had a hankering for a great burger. We were not disappointed! When we walked into the place it was very busy with a line almost out the front door. After waiting not more than 5 minutes we were able to grab a table and then placed our orders. We ordered their chicken burger, the double dragon and the altered beast. We were all very happy with our burgers, though I personally found mine (the double dragon) to be slightly on the salt side, though not enough to discourage me from finishing it or wanting to return in the future. Their milkshakes are also delicious, having tried both the salted caramel and chocolate bar flavours. I look forward to tasting their limited time rocky road in the future too.

what a great little place in Footscray. its great that Footscray is able to get places like this now. the burger was to die for, a bit on the pricier side but the quality is just magnificent. I love the layout of the place, a bit quirky but it works. its fast paced, just the way I like it. the milkshakes are also worth the trip

After hearing all the great things about 8bit I'd thought I go give it a try and I can completely say I was not disappointed. The interior and set up of the store was very cute and appealing which is a plus for me. The food there is delicious. Burgers are filled with flavour that is unique and cannot be found anywhere else in Melbourne. The milkshakes there are to me the best milkshakes I've ever had. I definitely see myself coming here very often.

Great place for a treat. It's a little on the pricey side but the burgers (including an unexpectedly awesome chicken option) are to die for, as are the potato gems. Super packed so get in early and have a play on the arcade games. Such a great vibe here.

8bit definitely adds some much needed diversity to Footscray's offerings. And it does so very well.
The place has a fun, easygoing, relaxed but highly dynamic vibe. The burgers are generously sized and without stinginess on the fillings. Perfect balance between flavour and texture, in relation to the bun and meat. They also do piping hot potato gems made in house (or so it tasted like)
