A lovely setting for lunch, dinner or just a quiet drink. Food is reasonably priced, I recommend the beef and guiness pie especially in winter. Beautiful surroundings, very old world english style pub feel. Can get cold if sitting outside so take a jacket. Heaps of room outside for kids to run around and enjoy themselves.

I think you need to soak in the atmosphere to enjoy this place, if you're not in to the old classic feel then I wouldn't recommend. However, we went here for a family dinner and quite enjoy it. I had the beef & beer pie and it was really really yummy, I would get it again in a heart beat. I don't drink much but hubby commented that the range of beers was 'decent'. We all liked the set up of the place, the history feel it had to it was nice, it was dining with a difference. No one complained about their food so all was good, nothing mind blowing but a decent meal. Steaks looked nice, I had a slice of hubby's and it tasted just as good. I think the only thing that let them down, although ever so slightly, was their service. We did have to catch their attention a few times to get things like a steak knife etc and they weren't the smiliest people but I am just picking something really...

Good range of food, great atmosphere. All beers are made on site. Large range of spirits and local and inter state wines. Lovely setting, village green and oldy worldy buildings.

One of my personal favourites this pub. Go in the summer time and enjoy the outside views. The food is generous, very well priced and even the kids enjoy going there.

I have been here a few times with my Dad however find it a little hit and miss in terms of the food quality - or perhaps I am just a little fussy. The last time I had the steak which was beautifully cooked and was quite good. It is fairly reasonably priced for the food.
