Have driven past this place so many times, but have never stopped.
Finally decided to stop in for lunch and we are so glad we did.
We were greeted by very friendly staff. There was a good range of local produce on the menu.
We ordered a steak Sandwich which was huge and Spanish mussels which were amazing, in fact the mussels were so good we ordered a second serving.
Highly recommended this place we will be back again for sure.

The Elkhorn Roadhouse offers a range of lovely cakes and coffee. It has some outdoor seating which is nice in summer along with a kids sandpit for the little ones to play in. The service could be a little faster sometimes.

After hearing great things about the Elkhorn we decided we should try it for a casual Sunday breakfast. They like to source fresh produce from the Bellarine Peninsula for their delicious meals so food changes with the season. The cafe is small however in the warmer months it would be lovely dinning outside also. Some of the produce used on the menu is available in the cafe's shop along with gifts. I highly recommend whether it be a meal or just to taste one of their yummy looking cakes and slices in the display.
