Energize Fitness

This is a great little gym. There are a variety of classes you can take and a wide selection of equipment you can use. This is a great gym if you don't want to be over crowded and have a good workout without being disturbed by people waiting to use equipment etc. Does not provide quite the same extent of equipment and classes as say fitness first but is still a great place to work out if this suits you.

Have been a member for a few years. They have a good range of equipment and exercise classes to choose from. They also have a kids creche available on most days, though times do vary

Approximate cost: $17.50 - $21.50 per week

At the time I went to this gym ( a couple of years ago) they were a nice small friendly gym where you felt comfortable, working out with real people. The staff were friendly and helpful but not overly fanatical as some gyms are.
