rang around and got prices from fitters. he was the cheapest around the area and no appointment required and explained the whole process of removing and refitting a child restraint.

So we had rang Engine Fit and John & Sara spoke and treated us like customers not numbers.
They gave us a price and kept us up to date with the progress
and we put this down to the fact that they are a FAMILY OWNED & RUN company.

This is our first time using this service and it will be the last. The man who fitted the seats was condescending, patronising and extremely rude. He acted as if he was the only fitter on the planet. He treated me like an idiot when I didn't know very much about car seats. I chose a company in Brunswick East to support local business. My other choice was Highpoint RACV. I'll be going there next time.

Great experience, friendly knowledgeable service, Best price i was quoted. The whole child restraint process was explained in great detail, also recieved a free fitment voucher to use at a later date. What a great service!!!

The installation process was quick and easy. I was shown how to take the newborn carseat out. Also the guy was nice and said please call if you have any follow up questions. Price also included a refit at 8 months.

Our family has been here about 4 times over the last six years to get various child seats added/changed over etc. This is the first time though that I personally had organised the fittings. The male owner was rude, condescending and made me feel as though I had inconvenienced him! I was surprised and asked my husband who agreed that this had been his experience the last three times too. I acknowledge they know their stuff re fitting child restraints, but you have to be prepared to put up with the attitude.

Met my husband at this Panel Shop as they are listed by my council to fit child restraints. As I arrived with my husband for 2 seats to be put in I was told to wait while he finished with another costomer. As I waited I could hear a heated conversation between owner and customer. Customer was fairly ok but the owner had no shame in raising his voice and being so rude. As I stood there I was not keen to continue to give this man my business however I was a little scared to just walk away. He only ended up doing 1 of our seats and told us to go back another day for the othwer. Mind you, we did make an appointment for this and my husband came all the way from his work place to do this. As we were in a rush to get the seats fitted we did not complain however were not impressed. Eventhough the seat was fitted correctly we were made to feel as though he was in a rush and we were a nuisance. I did not feel welcome at all. His attitude stunk and I don't know how this guy gets his customers. I will never go back there again and this is not the only complaint I have heard about him. Others have had the same reception.
