Graduating from Monash Medical School in 1986, Dr Peter has worked continuously in women's health from 1991. Dr Peter England serves as a consultant obstetrician to the Royal Women's Hospital and held a consultant gynaecologist position previously.
Dr Peter England specialises in normal and high risk pregnancies, diabetes in pregnancy and also consults patients regarding pre-pregnancy planning.
Dr Peter England is based at Epworth Freemasons on Victoria Parade, East Melbourne. He is supported by his midwives, Glenda Mihocic and Melanie Dunlop and receptionist, Gemma Lanning. They are patients' first port of call and offer immediate support and appropriate advice throughout pregnancy and other health matters. Strict confidentiality is observed at all times.
Dr England is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, serving on the Victorian State Committee for a number of years. He remains involved in continuing medical education and undergraduate teaching of medical and midwifery students.
Since the end of 2012 Dr Peter England has been the Head of the Diabetes Clinic at the Royal Women's Hospital.
