I would not recommend at all. Decided to treat myself with a haircut and colour. Got there and was told the hairdresser was running late from her current appointment. It didn't turn out to be too bad (10 mins). Asked what I wanted and we decided on a just a lighter tint (natural colour is black), which is more a light/mid brown. Haircut was fine and got what I asked for.

Left the salon fairly happy with my new cut and colour..... Checked out the hair a bit later and found there were quite a few grey hairs showing!!! Asked a couple of friends for their opinions and decided to go back to the salon to enquire. The hairdresser told me that not all greys would be able to be covered. Apparently I should not expect to be able for them to be all covered - it can be difficult to cover them depending on the hair follicles (some can be harder/almost impossible for the dye to penetrate). I was told I would have to go darker to be able to cover them. Considering my natural colour is black.....it all sounds a bit ridiculous.

I like the colour and the cut, but so disappointed with the overall result. I went for the experience of having it professionally done - I could have easily just gone for a cut (so much cheaper), and paid $15 on a box of hair dye to do at home which guarantees grey coverage!!

Absolutely astounded by their pricing! I went here with a friend to give her advice on her cut and whilst they did a good job, they charged her $95 as they said she had long hair even though it's only shoulder length. Then as I had my son with me I asked what they charged for a child's haircut and the answer was $35, needless to say I took him elsewhere. Totally overpriced and not very friendly service.

Going to the hairdresser is often stressful and I had varied experiences in the past. I am so happy to be pleasantly surprised here at Epic, got a great cut and style! Highly recommend it!

I had a fantastic waxing experience at Epic. I found all the staff to be friendly, welcoming and professional. The treatment room was very clean and comfortable and the girl did a fantastic job. I'm very happy to say I belong to this salon.

The package! From the moment I walked in was greeted by happy, friendly staff asking what is like to drink, magazines upon being seated at my station and a hand massage while I was waiting for my foils to process. I am extremely fussy with my blonde and cut and every time I leave with what I ask for. Over all Epic hair is the full package

While in the past I have received friendly and professional service from this salon, recently my experience has not been so pleasant. I went in with a picture of what I wanted and when given to the management, they claimed it to be of bad quality and went to town on my hair, not letting me have a word in edge wise about the what I wanted and cutting it far too short. The job was as good as one at just cuts I could have received for $26 dollars that I instead paid $85 for. I decided that this was an innocent mistake and I could approach the friendly team the next day about being reimbursed and possibly having my hair fixed, however, when speaking to the management staff on the phone the management staff was extremely rude and refused to reimburse me for my bad hair cut that will now last me through the holiday season... I was extremely disappointed with the behavior of the epic hair team and their management of the issue and will surely not be returning in the future. I would suggest that anyone in the Canberra region looking for a professional hair cut take their business elsewhere.
