I booked Epoxy Flooring Brisbane to come out today. This was arranged on the 7th of August.
They were due to come and do the job in Fernvale today.
After waiting around all day, I was contacted by the owner this afternoon to be told that this company doesn't even service my area.
Turns out they had confused my address with an address in North Lakes.
So rather than accept their quote, which to be fair, was actually very competitive, I was very happy with the quote, I could have instead paid a small amount more for another company and had this job done weeks ago.
Even going back through the paperwork, my address is correct on quotes, and correspondence I sent to the business, seems it was just a mistake on their end.
However it is now 3:50PM on a Thursday, and I was hoping to have the epoxy flooring done by this weekend. This will likely be pushing my renovations back by weeks now, all because this business waited until the booked day to inform me that they couldn't come.

Very disappointed, as I was super hopeful for the job, which looked awesome in the reviews, and the owner was excellent to deal with, until this afternoon, when no solution was given beyond "We don't come down there, we made a mistake quoting you"

Just... disappointed.
